Joel Salatin calls adding value to the system "appreciating infrastructure."

Cayenne pepper is a decongestant and also reduces inflammation and I have not yet exp any negative side affects.
I put a dash in my coffee every morning.

Great Pyrenees is a very energetic 'on point' watchful dog....fun to raise and love too. Love the water,..."chase/fetch", etc.

I love the production model, congratulations, I have one question, is there really no need to vaccinate the chickens? I understand that being outdoors, they are more prone to diseases, some avian influence, or parasites that can be infected, how do you deal with a hen or chicken when it gets sick at some stage of its life, without using vaccines?

I love your way of doing things and hopefully I'll be able to get 2 of your breed of dogs, they're beautiful and I'd love to have this kind when I start my farm😊. Please keep me posted on where to get some when I start out. I'm interested in the whole system you've got😊

How about hiring a "good ol boy from upstate NY" to come out and labor with you for a year's time? I have little knowledge of farming...but have the same "breathing challenges, etc."....would love to bring this knowledge to another "pasture" over time.
What do you say Paul? Let's communicate.

I would like to see the use of grains reduced to zero. This is possible by companion farming, the pairing of cows, chickens, and a diverse "salad bar" of species in the pasture, along with rotational grazing. Maximizing the soil health thru the latest permaculture techniques will increase profit and regenerate the soil so that it grows in fertility.
We can learn all this by using the 'net to see what works best. For example, Joel Salatin advises using a goose instead of dogs.

Why do you eat meat, Kathryn?

Hi Luke, I eat meat for a number of reasons, including that it's been instrumental in healing my digestion after years of autoimmune symptoms; that pasture-raised animals raised in a healthy ecological system have the power to sequester carbon into our soils and improve watersheds; and that it's a way to connect to all life on this earth.

Humans are designed to run on fatty meat. Meatless diets are not species appropriate.
