i love how architects get out of their usual routine and write more powerful songs in their album. diversity in a band's album is always welcome for me, but they've taken it to a new level. i think they started to implement orchestra during holy hell (?) and it fits right in. we really have to normalise accepting metal bands going out of their way to experiment on other genres. much love

They've always wrote powerful songs, if anything this seems to be drifting away from it in my opinion. The lyrics are unmatched with the depth from albums such as LF//LT and All Our Gods with songs like Memento Mori and Gone with the Wind. This isn't the first time they've made this type of music either, but the way they did it before had much more uniqueness and passion that I struggle to see in this song. Daybreaker and Hollow Crown had some beautiful soft songs, but we all have our opinions.

5 years ago I would not introduce architects to someone wanting to get into metal, however! This has totally changed, the evolution of this band just gets more and more better, well rounded great vocals and the instrumentals have great influences to alot of heavier bands I adore. Strength to strength! The band is producing more and more powerful songs that a new ear can tell has so much passion and emotion behind them, can't wait for the whole album!!

I definitely wasn't expecting this final mix of the song - I love it so much! It's gonna fit so well with tons of different playlists. I feel like it's still hits some deep emotions (in the classic Architects fashion) but it works regardless of what my mood is, if that makes sense? Idk love it!

Nik if u want to hear the best melodic death metal in 2020 or probably in the last 10 years, just hear a song called cosmic maelstrom by cult of Lilith, the vocal, the guitar, the drum, the thematic vibe, the breakdown, everything in that song is a fucking masterpiece, brutally catchy at it's finest, they will be a big leader in metal in no time
