Trust me after you listen to this a few times full blast in a pair of crusher evo's it grows on you so much, I can't stop listening to this song, it's the same for a few songs on the album
Personally, I enjoy Architect's entire discography, the latest installment included because I don't just limit myself to rhythmically and tonally challenging and complex songs, if I like how a song sounds, I like it, simple as. I honestly couldn't care who wrote it, what genre it is, if it sounds good in my ears, that's good enough for me. So many music snobs around these days who think you have to have some sort of degree in listening to music. Chill dude, some people like all music.
The album is something really special; incredible and will definitely be a turning point in their career. It's all about the way they subverted expectations and made something beautiful with +++ replay value. Thanks for all the reactions Nik, you're amazing as usual
Tbh this whole album grown on me after a few listen even meteors which I thought was generic and boring,I think it still generic but it doesn't really sound that bad in my opinion.
@@Max-jl2ie I mean I'm not talking about you type of people you can have your opinion it totally fine that why I love this album but people keep saying oh it sound like bmth is really annoying that mean they really don't know what bmth sound like especially their last ep

If you listen to the album in the album order, you get the flow and story of the music, and so although this song is a little more average, it’s placed so that it works better in the journey. That’s just my opinion anyway
Hugely underrated track. Even by me, until I walked away from something I shouldn't have and then for whatever reason this song unlocked something within. It be like that sometimes.
I used to not like the album that much (Not hated, but had a few gripes with it), but re-listening to it in order a few times really just made me see the messages and honestly just a whole new appreciation for it. Love the sounds of this album, great production on it. I’m curious what is next.
This song got better everytime i listened to it. In a weird way i think this is one of the best songs architects has ever put out. I liked your reaction, it felt similar to mine.
Is this a goddamn Red song? It's getting weird at this point, please tell me Rob Graves had a hand in this album at some point of production. Other songs sound very reminiscent of Starset, and this one sounds like Red. Rob Graves has produced albums for both bands.
This bring up an interesting discussion! When you take away the instrumentals of heavy music, does the singer have enough star power to carry the song into being memorable or noteworthy? Was a cool song, but even picture the drums doing the live recording: is he having a good time? Is anybody in the band? Simplicity can be fun still, but an eh song is an eh song
I tried saying too much in few words for a TH-cam comment, but when metal bands go radio rock, a lot more of their music gets boring, and if you watch it live it doesn’t even feel or sound exciting, it’s just more of a band saying “here is a song that goes verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus over the course of 3 and a half minutes thank you good night”. What’s the fun in that? You get songs like Demi god and other ones on this album where they’re just missing something vital, and it’s not just a break down.
Demi god and dying is absolutly safe are definitively two growers . First listening.... WTF Second... Not that Bad ... Different ... ... Fifth...WTF... This is meaningful, intelligent, daring...and bleak.
@@ZIMBO37333 Probably, every man has a moment in his live, when he must left “blegh” in the past and start a new freedom live without this beautiful sound)
If there's anything I have noticed after hearing almost all of this album, I have to say that almost all of the effort went into the choruses on this record. There's great chord progressions, and I love the exotic feel of the harmonic major intervals in this song. The vocals are good too. The verses feel super lacking though, and they kind of kill the momentum. Then the bridges are just drawn out and don't really lead to much. Also, wow, these songs are repetitive. I feel like I've taken almost everything out of these songs after my first listen, and I NEVER do that.
@@sarcasm4371 yeah a lot of bands are probably gonna outshine them, sure people are gonna defend this album a ton until the sheen wears off and they realize it’s the same as every other soft rock/metalcore release in the past 3 years. This song is actually really awesome. The Atmosphere is so ethereal, I love it
We all know Sam has amazing vocals but another MVP I want to mention on the album was the drummer... hands down nailed every song.
dan nails it every single time
"THIS IS DEJA VU" gives me chills everytime ngl
The best part of the song
This song would be a perfect fit as a video game track or an end-credits song for a big movie is what I'm feeling
I thought if AMVs were still a thing nowadays, this would've been the equivalent of like In the End lol

This song is becoming my favorite song of the album. Clearly a grower
One of my favorite choruses ever. That Chord progression is beautiful.
I love this song, my favourite on the album, that epic chorus sounds so good
LOL I loove how nik mentions that he ran out of hoodies
this song was weirdly amazing
The orchestra reminds me a bit of the sounds in the Netflix series „Dark“ 🤔
THIS SONG IS SO DAMN GOOD
I like how much "huh" that nik says during this album reaction
You can instantly see Niks dissapointment as soon as sam comes in with them cleans

Could just be me but this song gave me straight up Radiohead vibes.
really straight for sure, pyramid song
Especially the drop out to piano near the end
Yeah definitely Pyramid song. Was scratching my head for a while trying to think what song it was haha.
That's one of my favorite songs. I agree with Nik how there could be more PUNCH to the song and less focus to the chorus, but still I love it.

Nik! I hope you do a full album review after these! I'd love to know your full thoughts!
That song gave me HUGE Arcane Roots vibes from their last album
I wont let up Hollow Front - Wearing Thin please listen to it
See i absolutely love this song. I guarantee that if the end of the bridge went into a break down to finish the song you would've loved it XD
Architects turning into Red these days
In love with this song
Hi from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 good content
That piano reminds me of something coldplay would write. And that bon iver esc bridge was really cool. Actually really liked it
I also instantly thought of bon iver on the bridge!
this is a weird track and I love it
Love this channel.
I love the violins, damn.
since he ran out of hoodies he should just do 1 shirtless
I love how different this song is and the bridge gives me BTBAM Coma Ecliptic vibes for some reason. I dig it.
This album is so good

It absolutely kills (in a good way)
Definitely
truuuue
Piano-vocal part reminds me of some Maynards projects. APC, or puscifer kinda twist
Something very Radiohead about this one. Liking the vibe!
Brand of Sacrifice - Altered Eyes
This is the exact song where a fake out would be appropriate and it could be earth scorching
Kinda sounds like a RED song
Yes ,Red - feed the machine , so fckn relate..
