@@simsina hmm I'd like to know how to change the colour, example a bed it be nice to change the colour of the pillows and duvet separately. Same applies to other objects like chairs, coffee tables etc. Thank you for the reply 😊

Hi! If weird shadows show up in your game, you can try to treat shadows the same way as regular mesh. Export the shadow (like a normal mesh), in Blender, delete what you don't want , save it, and import it in s4s. I hope it works for you! ❤️
Good tutorial but just wanted to mention that it is vertices pronounced "vertiseas" not verticals how you were pronouncing it. It is choosing the vertex points.
Absolutely. I blame my English teacher lol Just kidding, I learned about the correct pronunciation after I had already made the video public so it was a done deal. In my next video, I'll finally pronounce "GIMP" correctly 😂

Hi! You made me laugh with "sims 4 studio" yells at me haha you could try this! In the sims 4 studio go to Settings and under "Blender Path", look for the path where you have Blender installed and select the Blender file. It's probably called blender.exe or something like that. The point is to connect Blender to Studio. I hope this helps!

When I clicked the Export Mesh button (at 3:37) there appeared a popup saying that Sims 4 Studio couldn't locate the installation of Blender + it asks me if I want to download it even though I just downloaded it (I downloaded Blender with the installer). What should I do?
What comes to mind is that your blender probably isn't connected to Sims 4 Studio. You'll need to add the correct path to blender in the Sims 4 studio. I'm not on my computer right now, but by heart, I think it's under options/settings in the Sims 4 studio.
@@simsina i found out the problem also seems theres a work around I downloaded the version for 70 but then inside that blender exported as obj and opened in blender 3.0 and when im done ill export it back Into 70 and export it from there too sims studio to see if it works. Because om Only familiar with 3.0 lol.
I am a cinema 4D user (for 7 years) and I have really wanted to import some of my models into the sims 4 for years now. I always have the same problems. I can import my models to Blender (software that I truly despise) and export it, but when I go to import that file in S4S, the vanilla model appears, as if I never saved over it. I do not understand why. I hate this.

When I export into blender it shows cameras and lights :( there is no mesh and I even tried to append but still no mesh
Pressing A doesn't select everything for me. It only selects the shelves. And pressing L does nothing except open a menu.
Im not sure what im doing wrong. When i try to reload the blender mesh to s4s i get an error message
So go back and redo each LOD or save each in each LOD?

which blender version are you using? People say anything below 2.78 works, but, I would recommend 2.76 just because I have that and I know it works.

It will save it as a new mesh as we selected "create a 3d mesh" when we first opened Sims 4 studio. ❤️
