great tutorial! very useful. and here's a little tips in blender. easier way to scale the shelf: mesh sellect > edit mode > "Z" change to wireframe display, then top view > "C" (vertices brush) > painting every vertices on the left all at once > "G" then "X" move on the x axis > click anywhere when happy with the size. glass part as well. no need to move the shelf legs first and scale the board, and there won't miss a single vertic in this way. thanks for sharing again.
My mom always believed I'm going to be a professor. Well, that didn't happen lol but, now, I think I understand why she kept thinking that lol thank you, Stef! ❤️
your tutorials are the perfect example of what a tutorial should be. You speak clearly, you explain every thing so well and you even illustrate the examples. I couldn't ask for anymore or any better.
Wow! Finally a tutorial that makes sense! I've watched soo many tutorials and none ever make sense! This isn't too simplified at all! Just right! Thank you! You just got a new sub
I think you might be psychic because I filmed tutorial about UV maps today 🔮 I'm happy you loved this tutorial ❤️ Hopefully, other will live up to it ❤️❤️❤️
Oh wow! I cannot even express how amazed I am by your tutorial. I clicked on the video just because we talked about it under your community post, and I wanted to see what you are up to and watch it later when I try it with you. But you make it look so easy, so fast, and so much fun. I had to watch it all the way through. The time went by I don't even know how. Your tutorial is incredible, and you seem like you have mastered making CC. I just love it, and now I wanna do my own CC right away :D I can't explain how much I loved this video, and surely I will be coming back to it when I try it. just amazing :D
I really think you could do it, no problem. I mean, of course it might take some getting used to, but, from what I've seen from you, you seem like a very capable girl. Also, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so happy to see you back.
You’re such a helpful Queen. ♥️ I’m sure this tutorial is very easy to follow for those who don’t have the issues I do concerning following tech directions 😅
Just wanna say thank you for making all of the tutorial videos! I have wanted for a long time to make CC for the comunity, but I had no idea how to do it or where to start.. You're videos helps me out a lot! So thank you so much, and I really hope you will keep making more 💕
No worries, I love doing this and it makes me so happy if it actually helps someone! Comments like yours make me want to immediately go and make more videos 💕💕
Hey!! Great video!!! Thank you so much! I managed to make a new object and texture so in game the object is there but the texture does not work on it 😆 I will keep trying though
I'd suggest watching some recoloring videos. I made a few. ❤️ I'm actually working on a tutorial for making your own map for texture. In the mean time, you can just follow the existing texture on your mesh and edit it in photoshop/gimp/any other 2d photo editing software ❤️
super helpful tutorial! are you self taught by the way? i always think to myself that people who know how to do this must have went to school for this type of work/trade..? ha i have not however it is so fascinating and i am hoping to try and make my own cc one day
Self taught! I don't think school is necessary for this. I mean, it can help, but there are so many people willing to share information nowadays so that it became very possible to learn it alone. All I needed was time, patience and finding/sorting through right information. If you get the chance to try it, I'd love to see what you come up with!
I can’t get the white glass square panels to move or even select them. I can select and move every other part of the shelf EXCEPT the the white glass squares.😊
My first idea is that maybe you forgot to switch to a different studio mesh in the little window/tab on the side where you can flip between different studio meshes? I believe glass part is it's own thing. I hope I'm explaining it in a way that makes sense 😅
i did all this but the object wont show up in my game... when i search for it the name and location appear but its not on the catalog. did i do something wrong? pls help 😭
You're the first one after watching 450 vid tutorials, to explain it from A till Z(literally) in plain language! God bless you!
@@anoukduarte3984 thank you so much! ❤️ You're the kindest soul, it means so much to me ❤️
Good tutorial. As a very new beginner, it's easy to understand and explains everything thoroughly. Thank you.

It’s the perfect amount of simple. Love it. Please give us more. Maybe editing UV maps or adding animations to objects. Keep up the great work!

That's what my mom kept telling me when I way younger
@@simsina well actually this is a GREAT way to use your pedagogic skill. I'm very grateful about that anyway! You taught me a lot. Thanks again!
@@felicejennifer4534 I actually agree with you! Free for all whenever people want it/need it!
when i tried to import my new mesh into sims for studio it worked more low and medium LOD, but had an error for high LOD.
If you want you can e-mail me the file. I'll give it a look when I get the chance!
Yay!

Isn't it bad practice to use the same mesh for all LOD's? At least if you intend to share the file or use lots of CC in a scene
can anybody help me ? my sims lost their feet when opened in S4S
Hi! This could be due to several different things. I haven't done any tutorials on CAS meshes just yet, but noting your comment for the future!
