This situation reminds me of what I went thru with raising my daughters. Sometimes you have to give your kids the space to decide who they should be friends with on their own. Jordyn is an adult, I’m sure the Smith’s gave her some good advice about being careful about choosing the company you keep. When Jordyn was being dragged most of us in the black community supported her during that time and offered their opinions about the situation - she has to learn. My mother use to always say to me when I didn’t want to listen, “keep living”. I didn’t understand it at that time but now I get it. I have to say, what happened needed to happen for each of them to learn their individual lessons. Reconciliation is definitely a thing and I think it's fine with boundaries. We must remember they had massive love for one another, power dynamics aside, and they technically didn't betray each other, Jordyn betrayed Kylie's sister and Kylie was in an awkward place where she had to pick family. Reconciliation is definitely a thing and I think it's fine with boundaries. We must remember they had massive love for one another, power dynamics aside, and they technically didn't betray each other, Jordyn betrayed Kylie's sister and Kylie was in an awkward place where she had to pick family. But i do think kylie and jordyn were/are real friends and Kylie, even though she mostly sided with her family, still kept it real in the situation and stood up for her friend. The situation is messy and I hope Jordyn has thought things through clearly. Cause social media rode hard to defend her, she’s disappointing many. But she may feel it’s worth her friendship 🤷🏿♀️
