I'm so glad that Bob decided to film literally everything that the trucks did regardless if it was at the races, a a special occasion or even testing. It gives a different view (Bigfoots view) of some of the events that were televised. I can only imagine the vault of footage that Bob has.
I agree, now I'm wishing that I had done a mold for that body for my remote control monster trucks like I did for the Hulkster body. The Dungeon of Doom would have looked great on a r/c monster truck. I even had plans for the Stinger body that never materialized.
The good ole Penda Series! It sure did create some awesome racing. Through this series you could see the progression of the Bigfoot trucks every year as it seemed like Bigfoot was building a new truck every year. Really wished the series had stayed around. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure that there's gonna be more Bigfoot TV clips from this event.
@@TJ-qz6hr The yellow lights were barely on as he left. He must has barely click on the bottom light. Shallow staged and got luckly when he left the line
If I recall correctly, the reason that Dan Patrick drove the Dungeon of Doom with the Samson name was because the real Samson truck had that big wreck the previous weekend in Bloomsburg.
Always loved going to Canfield. It was the place I experienced monster trucks for the first time! The monsters are coming back to Canfield in 2020 July 4th. Hopefully.... If the virus goes away.
I miss the penda racing series and when drivers owned their trucks. Jeff Bainter who had Hot Stuff and High Voltage and later Captain America turned Captain USA is a friend of mine
I'm surprised that Bigfoot didn't debut a new race truck for the 1996 season and Dan didn't get it at that. Considering that Bigfoot was pretty much building trucks every year. It's quite a few years before Bigfoot 16 was built since #15 was debuted.
In game monster truck madness 2 sting truck was red and black and have crow sting face on hood. Are that truck was just in game or was made in real life?
The white and black face Sting aka crow face was an actual truck. They came out with that body 1997 if I'm not mistaken and ran it in 1998. Google WCW Sting Monster Truck and images of it will pop up.
Yes, #8's mufflers were removed and straight pipes were add to the headers to move the exhaust down and away from the driver since the engine was upfront. #10 also stopped using mufflers and the headers were made to hang outside of the frame like #11 and #14.
This takes me right back to the days playing Monster Truck Madness 2 on PC. They had Bigfoot dialed in perfectly for this race. Was the dungeon of doom truck #8?
Now if only we can see Bigfoot and WWE join forces to have WWE Monster Trucks to life at Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live since Hot Wheels Monster Trucks made official Hot Wheels Monster Trucks WWE trucks will be so rare to see WWE and Monster trucks at the same time.
I don't know about any more wrestling involved trucks. They were cool back then, people would wonder what the connection was between wrestling and monster trucks.
Explanation is in the description of the video: "Also, Dan Patrick, who would normally be seen in his Samson truck, drove BIGFOOT #8 with the WCW Dungeon of Doom body. For this race, Dan was allowed to compete for points as "Samson" with this truck. For this series, the points followed the driver and not the chassis."
@@jbbarham5186 Bigfoot 8 is currently in storage according to Bigfoot. That truck is definitely is a part of Monster Truck history and the history of Bigfoot.

I really enjoyed the PENDA series. Bigfoot forever my favorite. I loved the sled pulling glory years too
Bigfoot has been and will always be my favorite. Team Bigfoot all the way! I 👍👍
That Dungeon Of Doom body puts most modern FELD 3D bodies to shame.

All hail the king!!! Bigfoot!!
Patrick at the wheel of the truck he helped build...which turned into an empire.
How did Eric not red light at 6:48. Took a shot at the tree and won. Keep these videos coming!
Supreme Diggie Thats how you cut a tree, leave on the yellow.
T J that’s how I always get the holeshot on ROR. Most of those guys on there can’t time it to save their lives.

Them some awesome paint jobs go 90s.
All three drivers are so smooth over the first stack.
I remember all these trucks from the game monster truck madness on nintendo 64. Coolest era of monster trucks in my opinion.

Did Bigfoot 8 at this time have its muffler removed? The truck sounds much louder and more aggressive than in earlier footage.

Was Dungeon of Doom on the #8 chassis?
