I took care of my mom since I was 8 years old. She passed away January 19, 2011. I found her when I was 18 years old. She had so many complications but this song describes her in a great way. I miss you mom and you won't ever be forgotten.
I love the folk vibe of this live version with the acoustic guitar. The lyrics are amazing, I'm in love with this song.

I love his writing style, it's pretty unique. Once you can get past the blink 182-ish singing style (kinda whiney?), his songs have so much meaning and honestly stick in your head. I love songs that tell stories and that seems to be what he shines in, so I love this song and Spoonboy is a talented musician.
