    That B Ursula, "My gawd Michael Anderson where's your heart?" Where's her heart in being willing to hand one of the children over to a demon, ugly character. I wish King had written a book for this movie.

    They damned their souls. The correct thing was to fight and die.

    “I vote yes, there’s no choice”. Think about that. It’s absurd. Michael was right. Linoge was the Devil. He fed off the fear of the townsfolk. They should have remained faithful

      Realistically, they weren't devout Christians like the Puritans, it would take a whole community of people like those to vote no to Linoge.

      Linoge couldn't control Billy to kill Katrina Whithers. What were the odds that he could make the whole town walk into the ocean two by two? Michael was right!

    Linoge was a villain. He spoke a lot of truth and opened the eyes of people, but this guy also battered an old woman to death. Think about it.

    • @jdee8407
      @jdee8407 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes and Carthage also sacrificed children to their gods. I wonder what Linoge would have though about that.
      But to Linoge's credit he did choose an old woman who probably didn't have much longer to live. Maybe he knew that and thought "if I have to kill someone to make my point might as were be her, she won't out live the storm anyways" lol or something like that, I'm guessing of course.

      @@jdee8407 Yes, Carthage is synonymous with war. Though many mass murderers have never utilised the sword as their weapon of choice. Doesn't make them any less violent. I appreciate the comment because I thoroughly commend the quality of being blunt. As sensitive humans, would it be fair to say that any individual who MUST participate in rape to feel satisfied is not only dangerous but all someone you could label as a belligerent?

    Andre wanted ralphie because Micheal was a true man of god it was rigged from the start and I think the towns people all had a feeling that's why he couldn't stay in that town where they all betrayed him after all was done they got they're carma most of them were miserable afterwards but micheal lived a fulfilling life going back to school he had no fear of andre and I think that's what saved Michaels life.

      It's called Storm of the Century. It was a Stephen King miniseries that aired in 1999. It's really good, I think it's free to watch on youTube in full. I recommend you check it out.

    Now children are murdered for the mere inconvenience. Sad modern culture. Our children sacrificed to the gods of careers and money.

  • @workittworkit

    What killed me is these folks rationalized giving a child a way but no one offered theirs to be the one. Like if you were so concerned about the well being of all the children offer your own so the others could live! 🤷🏽‍♂️
    This is very reminiscent of the Bible verse of 1 Kings 3:16-28

      Why didn't anyone decide to be the one to sacrifice their life to go with Andre Limoge but no one did that. I would have for my child even if I hate the thought of evil becoming supreme through me.

    All those "good ol'" townsfolk who voted yes, I'm pretty sure Linoge will be waiting for them on the other side after they pass, all except Mike. Wonder why King decided to make Molly into such a stupid, hateable character? It never really explained why she was willing to risk losing her own child like that. Great movie, but hated the ending. Someone else said Molly, not Mike, was the one who deserved to see Ralphie like that at the end and I agree.
