The US military service no longer wants new black hawks..They are replacing them with newer helicopter design Therefore not surprising Sikorsky shifted focus to civilian market for this black hawks. Nevertheless it is a well proven work horse, safe and continuously refined for so many years.
The Cal Fire, LA County Fire, & the San Diego Fire helicopters all each have 1000 gallon water tanks underneath.

The US military is still taking delivery of new Blackhawks and they won't stop the production line for at least another 20 years.
