What sneakers are you wearing? I need a new squat/deadlift shoe. Wish I had a safety squat bar in my gym. Love the videos.

@@kgmassTTV thank you. I'm trying to find an apolitical shoe (and workout gear) for lifting, but it's a nay on Vans after looking at their site. Looks like the Swiss company On is the winner.

Hey guys, is the “too low” position on squats dangerous for the back or what, I see power lifters going all the way, just asking ?
    Love your guys vibe !!😊

Hunter loves safety bar squat, why not barbell squat once in a while?

Hunter, I'd be careful with having that much forward knee travel. It creates a sheering effect on the knees and puts much more pressure on the meniscus. A neutral shin angle may not target the quads as much but it definitely protects the knees more. Bodybuilding is about longevity as well, so I would think it'd be better to use a safer exercise to target the quads. A better idea may be to back squat with a more neutral position and incorporate heavy front squat to get the direct work you desire with the quads. I will say though, I have mad respect for you because you are one of the few bodybuilders who still squats hard and heavy!

@@aaronhadley1543 Lol! Way to bring back up a 2 month old comment.... It was just a suggestion coming from someone who has seen and worked with many athletes who have damaged their knees by moving incorrectly. The vast majority of bodybuilders don't understand kinesiology (not saying hunter is one of them) and are too concerned with what feels optimal for their muscles and not what is actually optimal for their joints. He may know what he's doing when it comes to building muscle but when it comes to protecting himself from a potential injury there is still stuff to learn. I know Hunter has already had a major shoulder injury that took him out for over a year and also effected how he can train now, so it would behoove him to look at all aspects of his training. He could have been a person who doesn't have a great shoulder girdle to begin with and should have never been performing full range of motion barbell bench presses. If someone had got to him early on it could have prevented the injury...... That's all I'm trying to do here. I'm not saying he isn't a great bodybuilder or he doesn't know how to pack on tons of muscle, that much is obvious.

Great video , very bad choice of background music, you can play that stuff on your headphones or in your own gym, but for a training video choose something more agreeable
