My 2006 GMC2500HD gets 17mpg. Regardless of the price and in 4 decades of admiring and buying vehicles I’ve never been more disappointed in the overall price/utility of the current car market.
Lexus had so much time to get this right. What should have been a home-run is a double. A sub 6 second 0-60 time is mandatory at that price. Mileage is disappointingly and surprisingly poor. The hood fluttering at highway speeds is unacceptable. The interior materials are perfectly fine for a Toyota but are subpar for Lexus. The side mirrors are a safety problem. Interior storage space is minimal and what there is of it is inadequate. Sadly, this vehicle is underwhelming.
1. Wish it had same fuel tank capacity as 600lx 2. In our country we have top trim 300 with triple lockers + bigger fuel tank + 2 row heated cooled seats with same price as OT+😢😢😢 Waiting for OT+ 2025 update confirmation. It is said, that 1 inch lift will be factory added
I have this vehicle. I recommend to everyone remotely interested, GO TEST DRIVE IT. I ❤ mine to the moon and back. These video reviews are great, but in person will give you a much better view.
The Hyundai Palisade, Santa Fe, and Tucson can all have their retractable covers stored neatly under the floor. I am sure there are several others on the market that are the same way. When it comes to hard covers, the Kona and others can be stored upright behind the seat or sometimes under the cargo floor also.
@@CarsMadeSimple Well. I'm buying one because the only time I need to remove the cargo cover is when I am folding down the seats and then I can just lay it down beside the inner fender.

Also, if you're looking for the older models 'plush lush' Lexus feel, go for the LX600. And have an additional $20-30k ready 🤑.
I like the style and looks but there are too many other things I don't like.

Interior is very bland. My 2024 Mazda CX-90 has that same stupid feature with the cargo cover.
Luxury for me is how it drives, how smooth and quiet is what a luxury vehicle is!
