You have to be careful on their joints and ligaments because they're so small. So the workouts are usually super light max rep workouts . All that it stunts your growth was never true. Was suggested by some drs ,but look up most children drs from some of the most prominent hospital and they will say otherwise

When you wait to have your child play contact sports, the more it can scare them with the hitting because they have to start off hitting and getting hit by bigger people, it also gives others a head start against your child if they started earlier. And i'm not trying to tell you how to raise your kid but i'm just telling you my advice.
