    Hi, I’m new to your channel. This is actually the first video I’ve seen and so far I really like it for a few reasons but one of the main ones is that you are not afraid to be a real person you have your children in the same room with you letting them do their thing and you were using what you already have in your home, which is very important to me and I have a very small living space so you gave me quite a few ideas I just wanted to say I really like your channel and I’m gonna stay tuned and keep watching your channel 🎉
    A lot of those other decorating channels are just unrealistic for most people so I appreciate what you’re doing. Keep on doing it. Have a wonderful day.

    Have you ever tried turning your sectional so half of it is on the wall with your window? That might open up the room more

      @AtHomeWithJill I reread my comment like 5 times and still cannot figure out how someone could think that was rude or sarcastic.. you said in the video people keep harping about your baseboards not being painted and in my brain I'm like how in the world are people talking about the baseboards the house is absolutely gorgeous, when I think about my dream home that's how I want mine to look baseboard painted, unpainted doesn't even matter its a gargous home and I only even seen the living room area, I was in awehhh over the hardwood floors and beautiful living room I never even noticed the trim so I'm like how in the world are people commenting about unpainted trim, I forget alot of people grew up and live in a completely different world then I have someone else might think that's a normal regular home so they would notice the trim to me that's a "you have to be rich to have a home like that, I hope I get to live in home like that one day" 2 different worlds. I wassnt being rude or sarcastic in any way It was meant to be a comment, I was being genuine!

      Well thank you @sierra! This was an old video so I had no idea what I was saying in it lol but thank you so much! My hobby is to make my home beautiful on a budget but I also am a full time homeschooling mama so I don’t have a TON of time to paint and DIY like I used to! Soooooooo it’s always a slow process to make it pretty! 🥰🥰🥰 thank you for your comment. I get a lot of ppl that are so rude to me which is why I automatically thought you were being sarcastic! Thank you I really appreciate you!

  • @connievanmeter3206

    I still think with the couch pushed up closer to the tv it shrinks your living room. I agree it should be lined up with the window more, but then it’s awkward for the door🤔

      The size of the sofa is giant, not suitable with the house. Walking between the table and sofa is not easy. The flow of movement is limited. The size and this style is not in line with your home.

    Hi. I’m a new subscriber and my daughter and I love watching your videos!
    I love this layout the best. I know you like sitting in the chase part of the couch but I was thinking if that part can be taken off, I would remove it and slide the couch down to the wall. Then put the footrest at the end to makeshift a chase that you like. This will give the room more walking space and you may even be able to keep the current table. With the chase part still attached it looks way too big for the room. We had to do this with our couch but the metal connectors were showing in the living room 😞 but you’d be able to hide them because it would be up against the wall.
    Hope this makes sense.

    • @AtHomeWithJill
      @AtHomeWithJill  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AtHomeWithJill Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your journey! I am glad that you're not afraid to move things around. You never know until you try! I suggested this in her last rearrange video. But now they are talking about putting a bigger door and window there so it wouldn’t work. She’s basically stuck like this with the changes they want to make.

    I think your couch is too big. Maybe you should try putting the longest side of the couch on the longest wall at the side and move the ottoman to the other side. Then u can add a tiney table for cups. Or if the sofa can pull apart put a piece of it in another room.

    Hi, l'm Sue and l live in Melbourne, Australia, and love watching your videos. I rarely place a comment on videos l watch.
    As you home school, have you thought of placing some desks for your children around the wall that you just moved the table from? There are very affordable table desks at lkea in variety of sizes. You could leave the cube bookcase at the back of the couch and you would have a separate little school area to your dining area. Cheers .
