    Hi Teo, concerning the wooden hut photo that is clearly too green, I would drastically desaturate the yellows and the greens by -50. I tested it on a screenshot of your photo, it works great. If you want I can send it to you so you can see what I'm talking about.

    Loving this video so much :) ! had a quick question i also use the a7iii and was wondering what setting you do when you got the self portraits :) I want to give this a go

      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aww thank you, so happy to read that you like it! :,)
      Do you mean the setting that makes the camera automatically shoot multiple shots consecutively? That the "intervalometer mode", which is commonly used to shoot timelapses, but I love to use it for my self portraits. You can probably just look up a Sony A7iii timelapse tutorial to find the setting :)

  • @biong4real
    @biong4real 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey, amazing video as always!! I have gear question however. I'm considering to get the A7iii too. Is it a perfect camera for you? Have you ever felt the need to upgrade to the Sony A7iv?

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! :)
      It's an amazing camera, but by no means perfect. However I rarely have moments in which I feel the need to upgrade. Recently when I was shooting my final short film for Uni I did however borrow a Sony A7IV from a friend to get 10-bit footage, because the rest of the film was shot with a Cine-camera in 12-bit. There was this one shot that required a smaller setup and so I asked to borrow the Sony A7IV instead of using mine to get that extra colour information. And also I wanted to shoot that clip in 4K 50fps, which my A7iii is not capable of.
      But overall I think it is incredible and in my TH-cam work I've never felt the need to upgrade :)

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With a film camera it's a bit tougher than with a digital one like in the video. But I actually recently tried it and will be sharing the bts in the coming weeks. Basically what you need is a film camera with a self timer. :)

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course I am! That is why I dry it off quickly when it get's wet, but the Sony can handle a little rain no problem. However once the Sony looks really wet I always dry it off.

    I have no idea my question is full of stupidity. But i want to ask you why to be a photographer? And how to see an image beautiful? Because i didn’t find any way to see your images are beautiful including my captured images. I don’t like any images are existing in this world. I am not being rude. Please Understand. I am capturing photos from 8 years. And i shoot almost everyday. I watched a huge amount of videos and tons of images. But i didn’t get inspired. I have given my 100% on practicing. But i didn’t get enjoyed with the process and the images i was taken. I love to love photography but i am unable love photography. If you’ve any suggestions please help me. I need help BADLY.
