That so small Gina but they look like they fly on rails. Defiantly a fun flyer 👍🏻 like you showed. Take you eye if for a second and plop. Great maiden.

Thank you kindly! Plop indeed, Chris! haha! Yeah... she's a tiny thing but is so full of Mossie soul.

    Hi Gina Alan
You Kept that kite quiet... Had a gander at the flight. At this point I had better say I'm an EXPERT PILOT it's taken me ages to master the art of CRASHING... I now consider myself a grand master.. With that In mind is the mossie tail heavy its porpoising all over the place throttle up it just climbs it looked like a fiddlers elbow. You done exceptionally well to control it might need half a gram on the nose..
    Stay well you 2
    Brian

Yes, Brian, she was a tad tail heavy, but not much. I think the elevator needs some mechanical adjustment downwards. The second flight (vid to come) saw it flying much better but the wind dropping to almost nothing helped a bit, too. Hope you're keeping well, chap!

I'm OKish... I must find a decent umx kite that can handle a light breeze I've about 80 single cell lipos when I use to fly helis and umx quads

Totally and absolutely with you on the Mossie size thing, Martyn. I'd like one about 1.2m size, like the park zone and HK ones that have all disappeared into hangars, never to be sold on (lucky buggers). Happy to report this Mossie is made from top secret, hush-hush, faux wood. Mum's the word, old boy... :o))

Oh my... didn't it just, Martin!! In my Mrs. Walter Mitty eye, I could see the flak bursting around my diddy little Mossie on its brave mission :o))

Back in the day (WWII) the mossie was reknown for its low flying and collecting tree branches and the odd power line in the landing gear. Did you mossie collect any grass ( 4:15 4:20 4:42 ) ?
That is a nice bird, hopefully you can't smell any sour milk, an indicator the plywood is starting to delaminate the casein based glue!

Greets, Joanne. Back in the day, my late Step-Father crashed a Mossie which suffered engine probs just after takeoff... he just managed to get the aircraft through the tops of some trees on the descent... a/c suffered a lot of damage, but he and the nav got out with minor cuts and bruises!
