I’m so glad to see this follow up! How a company handles its warranty repairs says A LOT about them. Even the best make mistakes but it’s about what they do to fix them that really matters.
About 6 years ago I bought a CZ 527 [7.62 x 39] When I first got it the bolt was kind of gritty or rough feeling and the accuracy was terrible. I am an experienced shooter and usually shoot pretty tight groups. CZ sent me a postage paid shipping label for me to send it back to them. Less than 3 weeks later I got a package from CZ. I went to the range soon after and tried it out and it operated like butter and gave me 1 to 1-1/2" groups as long as I wanted to shoot. CZ more than fixed it, they put a different new rifle in my stock and also bedded the action. I now own about 8 CZ firearms and am happy with all of them. I also own 3 VZ 58s so I guess I am a CZECH GUN NUT.
Great video’s helpful. Just bought a used CZ-512WMR. Great rifle but saw your video & was reluctant to tear Mon down. After getting yours back from CZ looks like they got it fixed. Guess I ll tear mine down. Thanks Denny
Glady to see it working I have one I bought maybe 5 years ago the walnut model it's been in the safe never fired I pull it out today I was going to have the barrel threaded but a lot of the forums say it's a bad idea. Next week I will take it to the range. LOL thanks for the video
I had a CZ 455 Varmint a while back that would put two shots into an inch at 100 but threw the third shot out by 2 to 3 inches every time. It didn't matter what ammo I tried, it would do that with anything I ran through it! I glass bedded it and tried a pressure bed at the fore arm tip and nothing made any difference. I sat and studied over that problem for hours and hours, trying to figure out what the problem was and after I sold it and began looking at picking up a 457 American, it dawned on me that I should have removed that barrel and looked for any burrs that might have been left over and missed by QC! Looking back on it, I might have fixed that problem, but you never know! I have looked at this 512 as a replacement, but I have accuracy expectations that I don't believe this rifle will meet. You have a great channel my friend and I had to sub! Wish that I had found you sooner though!

@@SmallCaliberArmsReview I have seen some videos where they are not easy to get aligned with the face. Looks like the rifle ergonomics is not the Best when you want to use the open sights and rapidly aims. What is your feedback?
Many manufacturers have included things like adjustable cheek risers and length of pull (LOP) in the buttstocks, so that it makes it easy to achieve alignment with the open sights. Rifles with those features are going to cost a little more, but can be a big benefit. I don't find it difficult to align open sights at all but smaller shooters might have a little bit of a challenge.
