I LOVE that the playgrounds have one way in and out. As a dad of a kid who doesn’t fully understand the need to stay close I love allowing them the freedom to play without me being overly stressed
9:40 so glad to see this ride is still named BIONICLE Blaster and with the Toa Nuva still standing. I remember reading the teaser about this ride in the magazines back in 2002/3 and always wanted to try it, even if its just a teacup mixer ride. I hope to get to LEGOLAND one day and finally experience it myself and get photos with my childhood heroes.
Great video! Love all ur videos… Disneyland, DCA , Legoland! Your walking pace and informative content makes your videos pleasant to watch. Future trips to these places are less stressful because of your videos! Thank you. 👍🏻
Our first time at legoland will be this Sunday! My kids are ages 11 and under! Hopefully the 11 year old isn't bored. I've been watching your legoland guides and I'm excited to go. It'll be a 6 hour drive for us and the furthest we've road tripped.
Mahalo for these videos! We live in Hawai’i and have never left the islands and want to have our first family trip to California. Your videos are helping me with my anxiety by getting me familiar with the layout of the parks ❤ MAHALO!
The tower structure that’s part of the concept art for the new Outer Space area, looks very similar to what the main tower looks like, in the Lego Island computer game.
Check out my ride guide if you haven’t already. That will show you all the rides and you can see which ones are a priority for you. All 26 LEGOLAND California Rides 2024 | EVERYTHING You Need to Know th-cam.com/video/T2BSMy9mSvU/w-d-xo.html
Question. Can we leave and re-enter legoland? My family likes to do that at Disneyland. Go back to our hotel room and recharge/ nap then go back to the park. Is that strategy necessary or possible with Legoland? Never been to legoland. Thanks, love your videos.
Totally unrelated but since you talked a lot about food. Have you been to Tip Top Meats nearby legoland? We were on our way back up to LA but ended up just eating at Knights smokehouse.
What a difference to see the video with less people in it because now I can see so much more and it definitely looks bigger than I first thought lol 😆 great walk thru! Now time for you to grab a couple Advil 🥴(a lot of walking) and meet up with your family 😎
Yes! It was quite busy toward the end when I was there last. I filmed this right at rope drop so that helped a lot. But it was also a bit more offseason, despite still being a holiday.
Question: how much walking is involved at legoland? Would you say it’s as bad as Disneyland? We always need to bring a stroller to Disney for my 5 year old who always eventually gets tired of walking. Is this park a lot smaller? Do you think she’d be able to handle walking the whole time?
LEGOLAND is smaller than Disneyland. When I completed this tour, it seemed so quick to me. Where Disneyland takes awhile to walk around. I can’t recall the last time we took a stroller to LEGOLAND. Disney is definitely a much more grueling experience. But our kids are also used to a lot of walking, so it depends on your personal situation more maybe? We did ditch strollers at all our local parks before Disneyland. But I should also preface that by saying we are only ever at places like LEGOLAND for 4-6 hours. Where Disneyland is usually 10-11 hours. And that makes a huge difference too.
@@SoCalDisneyDad okay thank you! We might skip out on the stroller this time. It’s supposed to rain this weekend when we go so it’ll prob get wet anyway. Speaking of rain… 😭 😭 I’m soo bummed it’s supposed to be rainy!! Do they tend to close down a lot of rides if it rains?
The next areas that need to be built are Western, Mythica, Lego Chima, Candyland, Steampunk, Aviation, LEGO Friends, Polar Land, Farming, Surf/Boardwalk and LEGO Island behind the LEGOLAND Water Park. P.S. everything from the Legoland Water Park will have to be relocated behind Cannon Rd, in order for the Western Area to be built.
Maybe 10-15 minutes? I’m not 100% positive as it’s been awhile. The only one I think I’ve seen is Mythica, but it scared Benjamin at 4 years old. LEGO Movie one is probably pretty good?
I’m not sure, as we’ve never stayed a whole day. We usually just show up for about 4 hours and just do what we can before heading home. There are 20 some rides though. So I usually recommend a 2-day visit if you can. Especially if you want to do the water park.
i just today heard a rumor (with a photo of a planned new area) that driving school and jr driving school are going to be demolished to make way for a new area with a potential coaster, currently the carlsbad planning dept has signed off on it ( i think) and from what i saw in the proposed site plan plus the exemption application (coastal quality study exemption) both are going to be removed to make way for quite a bit of new stuff.
There was a rumor floating around last year they were putting in a Haunted House style attraction behind driving school last year. Nothing ever came of it. Until construction begins or Legoland makes an official announcement, it’s hard to make any sort of plan. But this is interesting to know.
@@SoCalDisneyDad yeah, i used to work in lego movie world and the duplo play town, but would sometimes get pulled to do reserve and ride, which for me was a nice break from ride operations, and i would sometimes get put on driving school, which was fairly chill most of the time and a nice break from the heat.

You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
Legoland shops allow you to make purchases and pick them up at the end of the day at the stroller counter. 🎉 👍🏽

Seems like an awesome place to visit with children
I went to San Diego, CA and I went to Legoland and I got some toys, and some fun.
I so excited for the dino world 🎉 do you know when the best time to go is

Hopefully in the future, they'll update the Castle Hotel into a Dinosaur Themed Hotel and then Build Another Castle Hotel above the Castle Hill area.
You should now do the Birch Aquarium 🦈👍📲
Hello,do you recommend for 12 years old boy legoland?
Ur vids are great, keep it up! can u tell me something about the unlimited digital photo, do I need one per person or per family? Thanks
I would imagine one per family is fine, but I don’t know for certain
@@SoCalDisneyDad ok thanks a lot for ir quick answer, i’ll be waiting the every ride at DCA in one day video!!

Do you have to pay extra for those win prize games with the stuffies?
Yes. And it's pretty pricey. Like $5-$10 per play.
