@@JimNicholls Well that's kiting. New kites are sold, numbers decreasing and old kites are no longer produced 😕 ... This is also why I immediately bought the boxkite we just wrote about. I guess that one batch was produced and whether there will be a second batch - the customers (we) don't know. Just look at the beautiful HQ kites like Cody, Constellation, Becolino... or the (understandable) decision on the Colossus not to produce it. Another example are the Speedkites that I enjoy a lot. Many are build by the Designers in small Numbers. They build one Design for a season or two and that's it. Many of these Designers also stop building "for the public" after experiencing the average customer 😉 Sometimes Kites are like collecting stamps. The big advantage is, we can play with the Kites 😀
Thanks, Dewey. The Lion kite is great. Carl's kite should have been able to fly well, as it's designed for light wind, but I think the bridle needed adjustment and Carl was not patient enough to try it!
Good ldea from your son. Lion kite looks very good. Beautiful
It is a good kite, which flies a lot better than I expected.
That reminds me: I recently got a Chinese lion kite that looks just like this one, only it’s a different shape
I hope that your kite flies as well as this one does!
Was pleasing to see how well made and excellent flyer your new Lion kite proved to be. A great birthday present and enjoyable weekend together.
The weekend was good, Carl, and I hope it's not too long before your next visit.
Love that lion kite. What a wonderful birthday present!
Thanks - I'm very pleased with it.
That Chinese lion kite is beautiful, I really like it, it's cute❤
I'm very happy about it!
Fabulous!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Richard.
🙈Please tell those two lovebirds👀 to find a room Jim 🤨🤣‼
Yes, they should have been a bit more discreet!
Thank you for the display Jim...and wish Peter Happy Birthdayy...enjoy.
Thanks, Craig, from me and Peter.
Good son, good dad, good kite. A trifecta.
Thanks, Glenn.
I love that cute lion!
It's a good one, Evan!
Man they all looked awesome together Jim. Ron
Glad you enjoyed it, Ron, and we certainly had fun.
Umm.. this is a family show…. But if you have offspring from the Morea and the Trilobite, we’re all anxious to see ! :-)
That would certainly be an interesting sight, Steve!
Love the new kite Jim, very eye catching. Glad you got to fly with Carl again.
It's a good kite, David, and flew better than I expected. I hope Carl will get back here before too long.
The Morea is a beautiful piece of art!
It certainly is, and it's sad that it has been long out of production.

Definitely more exciting than stamp collecting!
Nice video Jim. The Lion kite is very unique looking. Your son must think a lot of you. Carls kite is cool, needs more wind? Thanks Jim!

Love the Chinese lion Jim. Approximately how big is that kite length and width? It's hard to tell from the video
I haven't measured it, but according to the seller's listing it is 250cm high and 160cm wide, which seems about right. The tail is 320cm.
