Actually, it's enough to use Karim in just ONE heist (either Jewel Store or Bureau, preferably in Jewel store) for him not to fail in Big Score. I chose Karim for Jewel Store, skipped in Bureau, and chose again as FIRST driver and Taliana as SECOND in either approach. He never got caught or crashed.

However, that doesn't affect the final take, proceeds or the outcome of the heist, unlike in Bureau Raid (Roof Entry), where his lack of experience can make the getaway MUCH harder: instead of no wanted level, you'll have to lose 4 stars because he'll bring a van instead of an ambulance. That being said, it's much better to use him in Jewel Store Job (Smart).
He isn’t bad unless you wait until the UD to get him. He’s a great driver on the FIB and UD. That’s if you used him on the jewel store. He’s better than Eddie if you use him every time
I remember using Karim in my first heist. I got really upset he wasn't doing well. I mean, he was only like 25% percent worse then Eddie. I went out of my way to look up the bonus driver you can unlock (Taliana) just so I don't have to use him again. I gave him another shot in my second playthrough. He's actually pretty good, especially as yourr second or first driver in the big score if you use him atleast once.
I used Karim in jwellery store heist in bureau raid if he is used in first heist then he'll bring ambulance (roof entry) but in this heist i choose taliana as driver in big score Karim as train driver and taliana as chopper pilot

You should always pick Karim. For the heist. Even though taliana works cheaper, she still has high stats. You should save her for the last heist. Always pick karim up to the big score. and then he and taliana can work expertly and with a low cut, and yes a second driver doesn’t do much in either of them but it’s last a big one. Have to play the cards right
it's always worth picking karim for jewel store job honestly the bike choice doesn't make that much of a difference and you get a cheap good driver for later heists

And the sniper rifle is near the telescope on the left side of the observatory. The tunnel respawns supplies and evades cops.

So after about countless playthrough I've been playing since 2015, here's a tip for a quick payout, pick karim on the jewel heist, no matter which approach you. He won't die in the first heist, after the mission go do a bit of exploring, and you'll find a random events of npc that can be used for the heist. That will be patrick McCreary (gunman) and taliana (driver). Both are cheap and still the best crew to go with. Note that this random events only available after the jewel store mission and made sure to find them before the berau raid. During the berau raid, pick taliana. She will be helpful. And for the gunman, pick patrick and other cheap gunman, after that, you're set for the big heist. Oh yeah, for hackers, you can go for richard and he will be available after lester mission. He'll learned on the first job and will get better for the final heist.

I wonder if Karim Denz is Turkish, considering that Karim is a pretty commonplace Turkish name and Deniz is a pretty commonplace Turkish surname (Denz could’ve been a variation or Anglicization of Deniz)

Three weeks later but she's literally the best driver and does the job okay even if she hasn't been used on any heist, while only taking 5% of the cut. She's definitly the best driver and you should use her as the driver on the bureau heist and as the first driver on the big one.
