My copy is exactly as being described. Also have the top grain thinline in 8.5 font which is almost as nice. Both are equally beautiful but the smaller one goes to church with me ❤

Thank you for this review. Though I admit I felt almost like a physical pain when you held it up by one of the pages. :)

A beautiful bible, good quality paper, lays flat, margins, cross refs at the bottom, out of the way. Are these the most important things in a bible? Pretty maps, who cares what it actually says? Which version it is, the doctrines it's teaching?

I prefer black letter it makes it much easier for highlighting. Red makes it harder to read when you highlight on it

    Are you a Catholic?

Depends on what you mean. I'm part of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church; but I am not part of the Roman Catholic Church.

How can you claim to be part of the one true church when Anglicanism has a false view on justification, as indicated by your previous video on mortal vs venial sins; specifically your claim that committing mortal sins implies that the object of faith changes to something other than God?

@@contrasedevacantism6811 I don't think it is a false view. It is simply a matter of emphasis. In all my conversations, there is really no fundamental disagreement between Anglicanism and Catholicism. We are simply using terms differently. At the end of the day, it should not divide us.
I have told you multiple times that I do not view Rome as having the exclusive right to the title "one true church." I believe that as an Anglican I am part of that church, but I do not claim that Anglicanism is THE Church, nor even the most perfect expression-though I do personally find it to be the best.

@@contrasedevacantism6811 The Anglican 39 Articles seem to suggest sin as destroying grace needing restoration. I don't find the mortal/venial distinction in conflict with Anglicanism.

@@merecatholicity I don't think it's merely a difference in emphasis. Within the protestant framework (and you've demonstrated this to be the case through our interactions) faith and charity are inseparable. In our previous discussion you suggested that committing mortal sins implies an antecedent loss of faith. However, if that is the case, the only mortal sin in actuality would be apostasy (as the term is commonly understood). In either case, faith and charity are clearly separable as demonstrated by 1 Corinthians 13; and there are clearly other sins besides apostasy which entail the loss of salvation as demonstrated by 1 Corinthians 6.
