I love these machines. I used the hand cranks, then the Powermatic II, then upgraded to this one. Shoulda just started with the Powermatic III. Took me a minute to determine which tobacco/tubes I preferred, but after that, it's easy peasy. The sheet tray is awesome too, great tool.
Hey there Scrappy Pappy thanks for taking that thing apart on video for me. I just ordered one and was thinking that knowing what's inside would make the purchase easier. I'm probably about your same age and have probably the same take on the world today? Anyway thanks for your time. Peace ✌️
Do machines like this ever pack the tobacco too loosely? I'm considering buying one but am just a bit worried they'll be too loose, my current machine is one of those tiny manual ones, works but never gets it all in one go.
Well, if your tobacco is too coarsely cut, the machine will not pack tightly. I chop mine as needed to get the compaction I want. Too loose has never been an issue for me.
Finally translated your comment to English. Thanks for watching and your thoughts. Your issue with tobacco where the filtered sleeve goes on, is a tobacco processing issue. This video's tobacco is not too dry, but is just processed well. (See my tobacco processing video)
What is the best cigarette to mix with my cannabis? I smoke spliffs i do not smoke straight cigarettes i mixed with malboro red i cant find something that’s close to it taste wise i always find wet ones or perfumed ones
Lora, Sounds like your machine needs to compact the tobacco more. If you have watched my tobacco processing video and you are still having the issue, you may need to pack them after.
I know it's a late response, but the cheap machines that use a worm gear to inject into the tube and were prone to that problem. This machine is a powermatic lll and uses a direct injection method that hardly ever has a problem when smoking. I'm up to over 150k cigarettes made through powermatic lll, and it is just now starting to have problems. I will be buying another one.
The issue is a tax related one. Pipe tobacco does not get taxed like cigarette tobacco in the US. So they call it pipe tobacco to avoid the cigarette tax.
LOL that sound never gets too old. I bet my neighbors think I’m making .44 bullets late at night 🤦♀️

Kinda confused, why does everyone seem to be making cigarettes with pipe tobacco?

@@scrappypappymauldin5416 oh sweet thanks :) who doesnt love a good loophole haha
Plus pipe tobacco is higher quality
As a non smoker I wonder does making your own mean you smoke more, and thus hasten your own demise.
It doesn't incline me to smoke more, I just keep more of my money in the bank.
Nice
What is the machine?
Powermatic III
@@scrappypappymauldin5416 cool
What machine is that? How large is hopper?
Powermatic 3+. Hopper holds enough for about 30 cigarettes.
