I've seen a couple of VR websites try out your products and it's clear the person demoing the system just didn't have a clue what they were doing, which made things look a lot more clumsy than I would think they actually are when the device is used properly.
I noted that when the guy in the video was 'running', he was running in small steps prob due to the base being small. I'm wondering if the original setup had a larger base for more authentic running?
@@buddy3695 I think they all have pretty small bases. The thing with the running is that you can't just do as you would normally: Because of the design of the base, you have to "run" probably more like pushing back on roller-blades or something like that, I would presume, with small steps and a more sliding action.
I heard that walking on these things feels very slippery. That's why newbies will struggle from the learning curve. But defintely an improvement over the Katvr systems.
The learning curve is very slight. Our current system in arcades provides a brief 30-second training session before the game begins and most players have no problem with movement after that.
Truly is amazing but my one question is If we can do this, how about making it so that screen isnt so close to my eyes that it makes my eye sight worse?
And it also makes me wonder if its possible to combine this gadget with some kinda projectors in your room that shots out holograms like miku or luka in their concerts? Wouldnt that be even cooler?
Hey, just reminder to give peek option
I mean give that jacket not only stand, crouch, kneel also horizontal axis rotation
Alright if I can play fallout 3, 4, new Vegas and Oblivion and Skyrim on this then I'm sold
its definitely the step in the right direction, but "ready player one" VR tech for the home is still 10 years out.
All the couch potato gamers after 5 mins of this: ⚰
😂😂
As exciting as this is, the only problem I have with VR is that someone can sneak up on you in reality and you'd never know it. Unless you lock yourself in the room you set this up in.
Because VR user look like a mindless insect to reality
As exciting as sleeping is, the only problem I have with sleeping is that someone can sneak up on you in your sleep and you’d never know it. Unless you lock yourself in the room you set this up in.
@@KillerNoob2199 yeah, not really something I worry about. I tend to wake up at the slightest sound. I'm positive I'd hear someone entering my home/room.
Only 2 things come to mind when I hear that, either you're in witness protection or you have some degree of PTSD, if it's neither of those things then you shouldn't be worried about strangers sneaking up on you in your house.
My question is why do people not lock their doors?
When will it be available in Europe?
Omni One is still in development, but we look forward to announcing when we will ship once we are ready for production. Thank you for your interest!
I had seen this in my childhood on discovery and still this is a prototype
