This is a very good video. It is clear and concise, providing exactly the necessary information and discussing all important aspects in an easy to understand way. The animations are clear and very illustrative details are provided where needed while unnecessary eye candy is omitted. Exceptional on youtube.
Hello everyone and enjoy the viewing!:) In our online video course "Car Anatomy" there are more informational videos in 3D animation. Details on our website: carinfo3d.com
You should do a video on the complete electrical system of a vehicle, including battery, starter & solenoid, alternator, and ignition, lights & accessories, what’s powered by the battery vs the alternator, starting vs during operation, etc.
I am from bangladash🇧🇩🇧🇩 I am following your video Very very nice your video sir I am inspire Me training (driving cum auto mechanics) Love you sir Always see your channel
This is amazing, I appreciate you putting this out for the benefit of all of us learning automotive systems. May I ask what educational background is required to create this type of animations?
Electronic thermostats are more complex and require more maintenance. A purely thermally operating thermostat keeps the engine in the desired temperature range without the need for electronics.
Thanks for the video! What material is the wax used to make the bulb? Does it have a shelf life or is it lifetime? Can I heat it to over 100ºC to see if it liquefies and the thermostat works again? Thanks!
What about removing it completely from the engine, especially in hot coastal areas and the type of car is a Suzuki Every Cary 3 Piston? What is your advice, dear sir❤?
I guess the quality of a car thermostat depends on the composition of the wax inside. Or does all wax liquify at the same temperature? I am asking because I was told to buy a specific thermostat for my car.
This is pretty cool - or hot. Depends which way to see it. Thanks man. The wax remains a mystery in itself. Some say, when it gets lost _somehow_ the thermostat is dead.
Some mechanics removing the thermostat and directing the coolant flow in the engine from the radiator. It is definitely make some issues in future even in immediate. Because the thermostat maintain the optimum temperature required for the engine. Only if the coolant reached the optimum temperature and above the optimum temperature it will start open the flow of the coolant from the radiator which is called long circuit. Thermostat also increases the vehicle fuel economy because it maintains the required temperature for the entire engine
I am having a ford Fiesta which is an used car I bought before few years. I am having lots of issues due to the imbalance of temperature of the engine. Even I changed the coolant tank houses tubes and everything with respect to the coolant flow. This all are not resolved the exact issue of mine. Finally I detected the thermostat of my car is directed like the thermostat valve is removed from the thermostat housing by a mechanic that I have in service before. I immediately replace a new thermostat housing. Now my issue is completely resolved. Do not play with car engineering and mechanism, by directing or removing the thermostat valve. We know that cars engine engineered to become to run as good vehicle on road. Changing its algorithm and working method will definitely cause mild to serious issues
Attention : en français il s’agit d'un CALORSTAT. Un thermostat désignant plutôt un dispositif permettant de maintenir un système (P.E. la cabine) à une température stable.
These videos are absolutely insane! So crazy that you do the majority of the work alone! I have a question: are these videos finantially sustainable for you and your translator/narrator? Or is this channel just a passion project for you?
Thank you for appreciating the work :) I'm doing the project with pleasure, but initially, I had a plan to generate income from it. Unfortunately, it's not making much money yet. If I manage to make it profitable, I'll immediately expand and look for people to help. There are a lot of plans in store :)
These thermostates are very sensitive, if such a small part get stuck you can burn the engine in under one minute. I really wonder why the automotive industry still did not found a safer solution for it.
In severe cold weather the heater system will not provide any heat, the water circulates constantly through the radiator. I drove a long trip in negative 35C without thermostat, no winter clothing, suffered horribly.

I always been amazed of how thermostat open when they heat up, it seem like magic. Thanks for explaining this mystery for me.
Very clear animation. I appreciate your dedication and time spent for this information. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Scientifically correct explanation

your videos are the best. i hope to see more of them in the future and i hope you go over all aspects of a car and how they functions
Very good / super helpful ! Extraordinary detail !! Thanks !!!
well explained👌
Thank you for the amazing information.🎉
best animation and explanation to understand how the thermostat (calorstat) works !
Thanks a lot for that !
Excellent explanation! Thanks!
Great explanation of the thermostat! That's the bit I was struggling with.👌
Not many vids explain the actual operation of the charge cylinder. 👍
Thanks for the video! What material is the wax used to make the bulb? Does it have a shelf life or is it lifetime? Can I heat it to over 100ºC to see if it liquefies and the thermostat works again? Thanks!
Superb informative animation boss 👌👌👌
감사합니다 설명 잘듣고 확실하게 배우고 갑니다 항상 건강하시고 좋은 정보 부탁합니다
I love how AI pronounces Wax as Walks !!
Sounds more like Wox for us non-American speakers.
It's definitely Wox
Canadian here. I hear WOX, and it is very annoying.
Very very informative thank you sir ❤
Great job, thank you!
Super thanks for your great job ❤
Please, can you do a video explaining the PCV system?
Thank you for your time and effort amazing video
What about removing it completely from the engine, especially in hot coastal areas and the type of car is a Suzuki Every Cary 3 Piston? What is your advice, dear sir❤?
Very Good information.
Great video. I didn't know that it shuts the shorter circuit. Is it true for all cars?
great!!!!! Very informative and to the point!
I guess the quality of a car thermostat depends on the composition of the wax inside. Or does all wax liquify at the same temperature? I am asking because I was told to buy a specific thermostat for my car.
This guy can't say "wax." He said it was filled with "wox."
Why not?
HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHA
Wox
@@TheConsciousCreatorsyou painfully missed the point. This is not a human speaking it’s a computer.
So what?!
Thank you love your videos
感恩了解,謝謝分享!

Thanks man. The wax remains a mystery in itself. Some say, when it gets lost _somehow_ the thermostat is dead.
Make a short video explaining electronic thermostats. coil heats up and allows performance engines etc...
Nice explanation excellent video!
Nice job

What is with the miss pronounciation of wax?
Very informative. I thought my waterpump is broken.
Love the explanation

so, what if we take that away??? apart from taking longer time the warn up, would that cause any other problem?
The engine will not operate at its optimal temperature range. Results in reduced efficiency.
Sir please make video on all electrical wiring
please make more videos about cars!!
Goos Play video ❤❤
What do turmostate . Cool water or hot water

Bro which software you use
This of thermostat is simple and lasting. My VW golf GTI is using an electric motor type thermostat and it won’t last more than 2-3 years.
the wox?
the therm "termostatic valve" is'nt more suitable?
Wax rhymes with “fax”, not “walks”.
Computer voice?
Nice video!
Say Wax again? The AI is going to sound like Arnold and easy to spot. Wacks is how it should sound.
super
short and precise
Good
I recommend it!
Gotta love that wox…. Sorry wax
nice
Thank You
❤❤❤❤
And here I thought woks were only used in Chinese cooking. Interesting to know that they are also used in cars.

Maybe because it's a reliable natural system.
The computer narrator need a less in Wax pronunciation.
You need one on spelling lesson
@@CARBON10 so my computer generated keyboard is useless
WOX
What happens when a thermostat is not used
The engine will overheat and explode
The engine will work too cool, increasing cylinder wear and fuel consumption.
Also less heat for the cabin, which is needed for cold climates
The engine will run to cool, probably wearing more
In severe cold weather the heater system will not provide any heat, the water circulates constantly through the radiator. I drove a long trip in negative 35C without thermostat, no winter clothing, suffered horribly.
What's wox? The narrators a cyborg😂
Excellent video. Wox on Wox off!! 😎
Thank you! Yes, there was a mistake :(
@carinfo3d-En More so amusing than a mistake. 👍
Why are electronics always promoted as “ the best system ” ?!!
"Woks" inside the thermostat cylinder? Is it that hard to narrate a video without AI?
Good information, but get a human to narrate it.
"W-a-x" is "wocks" ??
Great video presentation and information ❤ thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience 🇵🇭🫡
Oo like that
Wox! 😂😂😂
A.I. sox. I prefer R.I.
I say wax, you say wox. Lol
🤔
"Wox"
What the fuck is "wox"?
