I believe the point of this video was that the Conservatives would lower taxes rather than claiming that taxes are 'low'. If they actually go onto lower taxes in the grand scheme of things is another question entirely haha

BTW did it ever occur to you that if Labour had been in power these last 14 years they would have had to do very much the same as the Tories in dealing with the global financial crash and it's huge economic effect on us and every other country? Covid cost us fortune, £400 Billion just for the furlough scheme, never mind the increased NHS costs, the backed loans to businesses, then the Ukraine war causing massive increases in energy cost so the Tory government, yet again, stepped in and paid half your energy bill. We the taxpayers have to pay for all these global events, we can't opt out, because the only revenue the government gets is from us and it has to pay for everything, like it or not. Fortunately our reputation is so high in financial circles around the world that we are able to borrow vast amounts but there are limits as to how far that can go. Labour, with their fiscal record, would not have done better, far from it.
