Mate I have 14 gt and I have to change the mirror because it rattles at the swivel ball joint. Annoying AF. But I spent an hour trying and trying without causing a break and gave up for the night lol
I do not but if it needs to be tightened I would think it would need a hex screwdriver. The one size that fits most likely will fit with most mirrors that use the hex screwdriver.
i got lucky and an ice scraper took mine right off. thank you for the helpful video
This video set me on the right road to getting the right tools for my 2011 Mustang rear view mirror, Thank You.

How do you get the rest off the windscreen ? I'm changing whole unit !
I think the new windscreen will have the part attached to it and you would put the mirror back on the same way. Nothing more needed.
Might be useful tot include brand and model in video title.
In reality all you have to do is tap the base of the mirror upwards with a rubber mullet
Hold it while you do it so it doesn’t fall
Omg no way lol ..cut around it done
if u were to cut the little black spot that’s on the windshield u wouldn’t be able to slip the mirror through the small hole 😂
@@manuelito2299 you would make a slit and the wire would cover that. Just did windshield for explorer Friday.
Did you make a little circle when cutting?? I’m bouta try it
