I use T5 lighting. 4 x 24 watts. It is quite ok ...
My tank is 120L and I have 80L sump. It runs very well my setup and am very happy with it.

do you have a closed tank or not? What do you use for the light?

I do not know what was wrong with it. It was bad over a few days and would not eat more :-( But it was fun and have such an eel.
