Pretty sure Sam was asking what it felt like to finally get that revenge he desired so much, when he already could guess the answer although he's curious because like he said if he got his own against Lucifer what would it be like. Gabriel just put up a front like it's exactly what he wanted when like usual with revenge it just left him with nothing now.
I loved Gabriel so I was happy he came back. As usual your lovely insights to the show are terrific, cannot wait to see how you react to what comes next.
0:00 i don't know why is dean mad at sam for wanting to kill lucifer?! isn't that what we all want? sam just doesn't want to be treated like a fragil child who needs protection & i don't want dean to throw himself into the fire every chance he gets to "protect" sam, sam wants to be treated as an equal & that's hard for dean coz he raised sam, he was raised for the sole purpose of protecting sam by john
This is the tragedy of Dean he never learn to let go of Sam or anything for that matter. They were a burden to each other they were never happy with each other, they love each other but their love was a burden. And I guess if you think about it that was their sacrifice to save the world
I agree with you I enjoyed the Jack and Mary storyline but found myself quite bored with the Gabriel storyline, which is surprising to me considering I love him!
Whatever the situation is, Dean's first priority is always Sam. These brothers always choose eath other over anything. And Thats the sweetest thing about this show. ❤️
Don't think of it as crying dakara it's more making sure your tear ducts are working properly because that's important 🙂 enjoyed Sam's speech hopefully this hits home for Dean 👍 enjoyed your outro very much 👌
Breathing fire= increased survival skills (if ever need be0 and smoking marsh-mellows...thank you. Now, I feel like the saying, "if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything" is something Gabriel keeps walking very close to and one can understand his reasoning for it as he tried, evidently, so hard to distance himself from what he was made to be and what was expected but then, in my opinion, he started distracting himself with his illusions and so this episode- I see as the closure to his past. Also, the nose demi-god in the suit, pardon me, looks like a teenage Justin Bieber and that could just be me but...his persona was all I can see whenever I see this episode. Furthermore, just as an aside- this show has somehow introduced Greek and Norse mythologies into its storylines and I can only commend it for that cause whenever these episodes come up, it becomes all the more clear that the material truly is limitless...I can respect that. That being said, yes, I do think Jack and Mary's plot point was a little more intriguing (to me) as it was an incredible step back Jack was made to take; somehow, as a leader now (even though he is still...two? at this point but I digress) and the conclusion which Mary drew for him- I did appreciate. He cannot protect everyone but the fact is that he deeply wants to and so his emotional side- that he needs to protect so that others may not take advantage of it. It was just amazing character growth and bonding that I adored. Lastly, the ending scene with Sam and Dean- their dependency on one another, as sweet as it is...they both are growing up and no, I do agree with Dean saying he doesn't need to apologise to Sam for protecting him but, Sam's growth at this point is one of a leader; comfortable in this world. Yes, they are going after the apocalypse this time, but they have to be certain now of are their individual strengths and those born from them working together.
agreed Jack may have a young adult body, and perhaps he can learn fast(what with brain size) but experience-wise hes no different than Jesse was, but even Jesse(Jessie(?)) didnt manifest his powers till he was 10(?) whereas Jack has that child-likeness and all that power from the start
I felt like the Lucifer killing Gabriel is one of the few scenes in season 5 that actually showed how much of a threat Lucifer really is, made him look really powerful that he's the only one that could look through his tricks. Now it just shows that Lucifer was a chump all along. And then Gabriel easily killed Loki, so either Loki was faking just like Gabriel was and this episode was basically useless, or Loki is actually dead, which means that the fake Loki can easily trick his way out of getting killed by Lucifer and the real Loki couldn't trick himself out of getting killed by Gabriel. "Mess with the real Trickster… get the real tricks" - dies 2 seconds later. Totally wasted this storyline.
remember that ketch came through the portal, chuck only knows where it came out :P, and based on red's info they were a state or 2 away from where the portal was so hes got to travel, as well as the fact that she traveled with jack to somewhere else while he is traveling to her last 'known' location, time and distance, aint she grand :P...i think it was just to show what mary &jack were up to in the meantime
So somehow Chuck (the most powerful thing in the universe) can’t detect his own son (Gabriel) was alive. Honestly Gabriel comes off like a douchebag here given he faked dying for nothing in S5 when he could have helped and stopped running finally showing he grew. Instead they just regressed the character for some dumb jokes making it empty as hell. I like the actor protraying him, but there was no point in returning Gabriel given he doesn’t do anything of note coming back. His whole revenge storyline was boring as frick given the Norse demigods were just humanoids again and are killed so easily, it just makes everything look so basic and boring. Any interesting character designs instead making everything supernatural look humanoid, it takes away everything. Gabriel was sold when again? During S11 when Lucifer got set free, but for some reason Gabriel didn’t try to help when Amara got free eariler. It makes Gabriel come off as a selfish dick. This entire episode shouldn’t have existed, it just feels like padding instead. I mean last episode was the last good episode of S13 as it expanded Rowenas character though the whole morality of her just killing reapers was ignored alongside Billy coming off as a wooden tree.
I don't think that Chuck couldn't detect Gabriel. I think when he said he couldn't bring Gabriel back in S11 it was because he knew Gabriel never died.
Wouldn’t he just save his son? Why the heck would he just leave him in the clutches of a Prince of Hell? That just seems dumb and it did seem he loved his sons.
@@chaitanyatanamala1464 Why would he let them start Armageddon and fight to the death? He pretty much said he didn't think it was his problem. Maybe he figured Gabriel got himself into it and he could get himself out of it.
Probably because of the poor writing the show had with Chucks character to begin with. Then again I disliked Chuck always even when he was a nobody back then. For a powerful being who wanted to defeat his sister, I figured freeing Gabriel would make sense. Then again Gabriel being alive was a retcon given he was dead and I call that Lucifer not killing him the first time to be a bad retcon making him look incompetent.
Based on this show, not on your opinion who has Lucifer successfully kill on this show Lucifer has only kill some unknown angels and some humans he has never kill any big bad.
This episode was directed by Richard, so in the fight scene as the actor likes to say "I had to direct myself kicking my own ass". Great reaction!
That speech by Sammy at the end. ALWAYS TOGETHER, DEAN!!!!!!! 😁

I'm guessing Sam's line to Gabriel at the end was sarcastic. And Gabriel's response was also sarcastic

I think cuz Dean in his mind doesn’t want Sam to repeat the same mistakes like season 4
This is the tragedy of Dean he never learn to let go of Sam or anything for that matter. They were a burden to each other they were never happy with each other, they love each other but their love was a burden. And I guess if you think about it that was their sacrifice to save the world

"I want Lucifer to be done forever" uh S A M E we tired so tired lol
Richard Spade Jr Episode Another favorite backstory of origin of how Gab got he's Identity as Loki love it great reaction as always Dakara Carry on 👍

11:48 Yes u have told that many times Dakara.😁
Don't think of it as crying dakara it's more making sure your tear ducts are working properly because that's important 🙂 enjoyed Sam's speech hopefully this hits home for Dean 👍 enjoyed your outro very much 👌
Dean wanting to steal Gabriel's spotlight

Now, it is climax. AU Michael vs Winchesters+Gabe+Rowena

The only interesting thing about Gabriel was the explanation what he had to do with Loki, but the rest was not important for me 🤗
I actually really liked this episode but I see what you mean 😉
What makes me confused in this episode, Mary seems not meet with ketch at all...
remember that ketch came through the portal, chuck only knows where it came out :P, and based on red's info they were a state or 2 away from where the portal was so hes got to travel, as well as the fact that she traveled with jack to somewhere else while he is traveling to her last 'known' location, time and distance, aint she grand :P...i think it was just to show what mary &jack were up to in the meantime
I know some people had a problem with the retcon of Gabriel’s death dakarajayne. I didn’t.
I didn't mind it at the time, I don't like it in retrospect

Jack as usual was selfish, impulsive and idiotic. Endangering others and getting others killed for what Jack wants.
