Zeek87 Those were all barely-there characters. I agree about Claire because she was there for a while, but as for everyone else, they got like one episode (two, max) for this season. I think that's what everyone means by female representation is pretty low on the show. Nobody really stays around, even if you're not killed off.
Kaiia Brown Well because it's not the show about the other characters ... it's about Sam and Dean ... every other character (apart from Castiel and Crowley) gets only an episode or two, be it male or female - because it's not about them ... I think we got a good dose of female characters, leading with Charlie and Rowena, who was kind of a main baddie ... people are just looking for problems when there are non.
+Cosima B. remember that the fans decide to a very large degree which characters will stay. Characters that are popular with the fans gets to stick around. Castiel, Bobby and Crowley all got more screentime because of the fan reception

Jensen, Jared, Misha, and Mark are such wonderful people with great personalities but also super talented and versatile actors! I love Supernatural even if I only started last November and binge-watched 185 episodes in only 11 weeks. I'm proud to be part of this wonderful fandom.
