People wants to be a part of SAO universe with their own unique character, not play as one of the already existing god awful characters they have on anime.

Oh, so about the questing in FB: You're really supposed to accept all of the quests for an area in a single go, then go into the area and thoroughly explore it all in 1-2 trips. As long as you're combing the entire map, and killing every enemy listed as a quest enemy when you see them, you won't have to go back and forth. Normally, you can complete the side quests as a consequence of just playing the game, which makes it a much more streamlined experience. (Except for player bounty quests, which you can't do all at once. Thanks DIMPS.) Also, Lycoris branches off from Alicization fairly deep in, around the mid point of alicization. From there it's actually pretty different, mostly focusing on the new girl Medina, who's... actually decently written, surprisingly enough. Mediocre game itself, but damn do I love her storyline. I only say this as a mild correction.
I would love to see Bamco explore the idea of an actual SAO MMO. They already have the SAO: Integral Factor mobile mmo which is pretty good... for what it is. What I would do to fight through the 100 floors of Aincrad one at a time in an open world style game with my own created character.
Fatal bullet would be an even more amazing game if they just gave it a version 2.0 update that would make a few UI changes, add a new multiplayer mode, fix some ability glitches, Balance out some weapons in the game, and a few other things. I have a list of things that I think would actually improve the overall gameplay flow. Also they need to add a no-cutscenes option for it. DLC4 is horrible gameplay wise since you can never go more than 10 minutes without having a cutscene thrown in your face(kills the speed running ability for it as well)
I just recently got this game on my switch for like $5 on a sale. I am really sad I didn’t find it sooner. I played Phantasy Star Online 2 on psp as a teen, it was my first introduction to any kind of online game. This game feels like that experience all over. Same gameplay loops that I remember, minimal multiplayer but can play with a few friends which is what I did on PSO2. Just really took me back to a game that was such a core memory, so I’m super pleased with it personally. Funniest part, I don’t even watch anime much. Never even seen this show. Lmao.
I hope one day they make a game like this for the alo world that’s multiplayer and the only time the actual characters show up is for events or something and the actual game is whatever u want it to be
I randomly bought this game when was on sale, MAN EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS GAME IS SOO GOOD, the plasma swords, the guns, the customization. I love it shows the bullet paths of enemies and can auto lock on targets.
As someone who actually enjoys the other SAO games as much as this one, I believe Fatal Bullet was more experimental than anything, and it goes both ways. While Dimps captured a very accurate representation of what GGO would play as, what failed is that the "tradition" Aquria established with Infinity Moment didn't really translate into a shooter. Sure, the compliment system, bed scenes, and affection levels were THERE, but I can understand those who actually like to be in Kirito's POV in that it felt like a huge departure from what an SAO game ought to be. At least...that's what I observe. I know SAO's reputation stinks thanks to everyone beating on the dead horse since 2012, but I still am a fan of the show in spite of it. I'm perfectly fine with those who dislike it, and I can still understand where they're coming from. That being said, I personally think the games are meant to be enjoyed in their appropriate context. I can't speak on behalf of everyone, though.
I don't understand people who hate sao. Especially fatal bullet as a game, it's amazing to play as someone else in the sao universe (even if it's way different from what actually happened) and talk to kirito. The guns are great too but the only thing I hate is the steps for the true ending. It's more like a call of duty zombie Easter egg than anything. I haven't actually beaten it yet also do I have to ONLY beat death gun to complete kirito mode?
@@PrincesSwrlx People have opinions; it's just that the loudest and angriest people who have critical perspectives tend to spread that negativity like wildfire, transforming it into a bandwagon as a result. Not that it really matters to me; my goal is just to enjoy what I like, regardless of how popular it is to piss on the show. As for beating Kirito Mode; yes, you have to win every battle and defeat Death Gun. That's one of the many requirements to get the true ending, on top of the whole completing one of the bad endings and get all the original characters' affinity level to 4. Just worry about getting either bad ending; you have more than enough time to complete the other steps.
Its miracle they had a version available on Nintendo switch. I just wish they had another more newer game centered around the Alfheim world because I love games where your character can fly around freely.
There's a reason Aquria permanently got the SAO license, their SAO games just sold much better than Dimps's SAO games did, both HR and AL sold better than FB, FB is a low quality shooter with the most bare bones story in the franchise, and thats saying a lot
If I'll be honest, this is the only SAO game I've finished. I played Hollow Realization, Lost Song, Alicization Lycoris, and now Last Recollection but I just can't finish them because I can't get immersed in the story since I'm playing the same people that I've played in the past games.
i dont even respect sao but this game was pretty good tbh (i skipped like 90% of the dialogue) the music was chill too my only true issue with this game is lazy multiplayer that was probably an afterthought and when you get to like level 100+ it takes AGES to level up even once and the balancing between stages is kinda tough but maybe just cuz it's on the hardest difficulty
The only issue I have with the game is how small the world spaces are. For an RPG the overworld is very small, if you took Skyrim and only confined yourself to only the Island of Solstheim you would still have a larger world space to explore and play in than each of the world spaces in Fatal Bullet. Hoping they make a game that fixes that but other than that I do enjoy this game.
Needles to say that game is great, the mechanics mesh greatly, the story is also great but not without the canon reverting holes which is not bad but still noticable even in the gameverse, but it struck out a question of why makes SAO - its characters from the main season or its setting that is even in the Anime has many flows and illogic. Of which the latter that saves SAO as a whole their characters and as seen in S1 adn the Aliciazation arc due to the fatal flaws of its story and yet the characters are what saved this holed story and lore. Yet I still stand by saying this is a great SAO game and also great review by the way, while still lacking what for me is the should of SAO their original character ( Only self-opinion)
Glad to see a review on this game. Probably the only SAO game I'll ever play (other than that Integral Factor mobile game but ive quit playing that), unless Dimps gets their chance to do even better.....(or unless they make a new customizable character for the protagonist, my standards may be a bit low lol) My biggest gripe with this game isnt Kirito mode, but the DLCs. Specifically the first 3. They all dont add much at all, just "go to area youve been to before, go into dungeon, cutscene cutscene, kill boss, cutscene, end of dlc buy the next one, dick head." The only time this is different is at the end of the third, where (spoilers btw) Yui talks to you in your room and tells you she needs some materials to help Lievre in her self-repair mode. To get these materials, you have to.....FIGHT THE SAME FUCKING BOSS IN THAT DLC OVER AND OVER????? And even after getting all of those materials, it's just you two leaving, someone comes in, and leaves a cliffhanger until the expansion. Actually, now that i think about it, the person controlling Lievre was never interacted with in the story, just in like two cutscenes. Funny enough, i actually love the expansion DLC, but just because it actually adds so much stuff. The expansion literally feels like another half of the game, compared to the other DLCs. You get a whole new area (idk what they're called, they're with the Solitary Sands and the Old South) called "The White Frontier", a very snowy place. In this DLC, it uses ALL of the characters you can party up with, along with 3 new characters. It has an actually decent amount of story, as SHOULD be expected from a DLC...actually, after checking, its TEN FUCKING DOLLARS FOR 2 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY, 1 IF YOUVE ALREADY GRINDED BEFORE THE DLC. Anyway, it doesnt really add any new enemies, other than two new bosses, which I'll take. Im sure im forgetting stuff i want to put in here, but if i remember it ill edit it in this comment, but overall, i really, REALLY love Fatal Bullet, and want another game like it.
