It just goes to show how good bands are a perfect storm of people put together. Jonathan basically completed Korn. He gave them that unique-ness, strangness, quirky-ness this band needed. This band as is sounds like another 90's rip off of alice in chains or something.
It was L.A.P.D before Head joined, then he joined and they got rid of the singer and changed their name to Creep. Then once Jonathan came into the band he suggested the name KoRn and they changed it to that. The rest as they say is history. It's all in Head's book, and Fieldy's to I think.
The name of the singer is Corey Cinque. He only stayed in Creep for a while, then they got Jon Davis, changed their name to Korn and the rest is history!
Cool, I didn't know there even was a recording of this version. Thanks for posting. I wish there was a clear recording of MoLested like this...the only video I've been able to find of that was a recording of a live show from '93 on a video camera...not very clear quality lol.
Funny how you listen to JDs earlier stuff then combine it with anything pre-Korn (this and LAPD) then you make the equation. Just reminds me that the right combination will find itself.
@CrackedStyle coincidence? kuz he dont just say "this aint the place" (he adds "i wanna be in") and he dont just repeats it like jd. he just says it twice...
Yea, I recognize this from the vid of the "2nd korn show" on here. I still cant figure out the timeline of the band Creep. Im thinking it was LAPD after they lost their previous singer??
@emonemojay its an early version of my gift to you by korn. there was also a version called molested that korn used to play in 93 before thet were signed.
oh my god i just realized, jonathan ripped off the lyrics from 3:00. tis aint the time, this aint the place, he used those same lyrics for i will protect you from the untitled album.
So this band is KoRn when they rebraned from LAPD, right? Some people thought that KoRn style was brought to band by Davis who supposedly took it from his band SexArt, but if this is pre John period it means LAPD members came with this style on their own.
@@lodidodi89 Most of the song yes, is mostly grunge inspired track I guess but part that starts at 0:34 is pretty much blueprint for KoRn sound on first album.
There just 5 songs of Creep right? See Through,Soul sucks, why cant i breath, dont know why (like a divine/Korn demo) and i dont remember da last one u.u
why there is a picture of jonathan davis?
Corey Mcabe is the singer.
This is sick, I never even heard of this stuff before.
DO THIS!!! Stay up all night then at like 7 in the morning listen to this you will have a major eargasm
Ok bet
@@RandomPyroYT little late man
@@calebgarcia9864 not really late
Jon looks like an absolute boss in that picture.
This is corn before they went KoRn.
it sounds like a mix of my gift to you and the rare version of daddy :DD
This riff was indeed used for My Gift to You
Love that bike!
omg this is really good. it is very Alternative and grunge sounding. reminds me of alice in chains a lot

The name of the singer is Corey Cinque.
He only stayed in Creep for a while, then they got Jon Davis, changed their name to Korn and the rest is history!

AWESOME song .
it's cool
This is awesome, anyone know where to find more of Creeps music?
IxBxCAMP I’m looking for more sex art at the moment but can’t see it on TH-cam at the moment lol
IxBxCAMP I think I found more sex art anyway maybe I found it before but forgot lol
I really like the sliding back and forth pattern Brian has in this song, with the extreme, then calm. dang, really cool.
Try kornmemorabilia YT channel

this isnt JD....
Buck Futtler re-read the initial comment
@kanablss Oh I heard the name mentioned before in one interview, maybe two.
reminds me of my gift to you with Layne Stayley singing
the first version of my gift to you
yeah, he does and thanks any way
@CrackedStyle coincidence? kuz he dont just say "this aint the place" (he adds "i wanna be in") and he dont just repeats it like jd. he just says it twice...
@Vlashenify It was See Thru- MoLested- My Gift to You. :)
Yes! That's right!) but... originally it was a Slayer - Seasons In The Abyss (music theme I mean).
Yea, I recognize this from the vid of the "2nd korn show" on here. I still cant figure out the timeline of the band Creep. Im thinking it was LAPD after they lost their previous singer??
Only recently found this song
wow nice way of figuring that out ;)
@emonemojay its an early version of my gift to you by korn. there was also a version called molested that korn used to play in 93 before thet were signed.
yhea!!!!
korn in mexico
So AIC!
"this ain't the time this ain't the place" didn't Korn use these lyrics in a diff song? (Not my gift to you?)
YES! I think in "I will protect you"
Sounds like Layne Staley
FUCK YES!! Corey Mcabe on lead vocals!!
has a bit of a thrashy sound in the middle
Yeh reminds me of true til death by chaims of strength like some hardcore punk shit before it went scene
FUCK YES!! Corey Mcabe on lead vocals!! i thought it was called follow me
i like it
Soundgarden vibe!!!
@88472456 yeah? my point is he says the same phrase, i didnt say he sings it exactly like him.
where can I download some creep songs
oh my god i just realized, jonathan ripped off the lyrics from 3:00. tis aint the time, this aint the place, he used those same lyrics for i will protect you from the untitled album.
Well looks like maynard keenan ripped off those lyrics in the song push it by tool cause thats what it reminded me of
jonathan davis riding a low rider
WTF is this that sounds like Ozzy and JD and Layne Stanley WHAT IS THIS!?!!
love it \m/
Luna (mana sama) I see you everywhere in "pre Korn" related lol
@Pr3dat0r5000 JD probably means the lyrics were about fantasies with his wife in the final version of this song. Not every bit of it
@luchohc Absolutely!!!
i just noticed the intro is slayer's seasons in the abyss.
wow where did you get that pick jon lucks sexy on that

If you ask me it's pretty far from the style of 90's Korn.
@@lodidodi89 Most of the song yes, is mostly grunge inspired track I guess but part that starts at 0:34 is pretty much blueprint for KoRn sound on first album.
btw the singer is a guy named corey.
the band Toy? i have heard of the others you mentioned but not Toy. can you tell me more about this band
@bertharand layne rocks!
I miss Jonathon's voice
so far 2 have leaked...'see thru' n 'dont know why'...
What say in this part.@2:45 to @3:37
If Alice In Chains should cover this.
only 5 of them have leaked.
and also: Ragtyme....fieldy n heads highschool band.
lmao nice
Who's the singer in the song?
Fieldy?
if axl rose and layne staley had a kid, this would be the singer.
sounds like my gift to you
You know whats funny? The intro reminds me of "Away from me" by Puddle Of Mudd
0:33, x0.75 speed
Turned into a Crowbar song
Dude i want that pic
corey's voice just dosnt fit this, im sorry. jon definetly fits korn better.
He still does a pretty damn good job unlike most bands nowadays.
even though this was Richard as the lead singer i wonder what koRn would have sounded like if JOHN never joined the band.
MYSEGAISBROKEN theres a live version of this song on youtube with jon singing
This recorded track is Richard not Johnathan.
+MYSEGAISBROKEN *jonathan
The band before Jonathan came into it was called L.A.P.D
stands for Love And Peace Dude
Its Corbo NOT Richard. Nice try tho!

korn.fandom.com/wiki/Creep_(band)
this is so much different than the other creep songs. i mean I realize that its MG2Y but it doesnt fit the vibe of the rest of the band's demo
DO YOU HAVE A COPY OF CREEPS DEMO !! MINE WAS STOLEN !! WE THE PEOPLE WAS PRETTY GOOD !!
@@s.fernandez1453Do you know where to listen to that demo tape?
i enjoy Jon's lyrics much better
Is Jonathan singing???
nope
Who
Поет эту песню ещё не Джонатан, а Ричард Морилл. Рич был свергнут составом группы LAPD из за злоупотребления наркотиками. Они быстро нашли ему замену.
Cyka bliet
juice didnt have jon in it. when sexart broke up because jon and ryan left, they wanted someone who sounded exactly like jon in juice.
yeah seriosly
Holy shit, so now we see where JD got some influence for his vocals! This is sweet!
well...i notice a very uncanny resemblance.
..ragtyme n Pierct
wrong this is Creep.
its corey cinque on vocals.
Alice in chains 🤟
now I wish LAPD and creep were around with Korn...
Heck, you even include a related reason in the description. Apparently this guy can't read. Lol.
Lol my little pony
corey taylor?
sounds like my gift to you
