Physicians formula butter bronzer. Years to hit pan and it was my only bronzer. And then in 2020 little use because...2020. Repressed and hit pan again already so I'm hoping it'll go soon. It's oldddd now.
I’m still working on my too faced born this way concealer that I’ve had and been using as an under eye concealer since 2018. Help. I want to be freed from this concealer 😂
I remember back in like 2008/2009 I had bought this really pretty baby pink colored Mac blush and completely panned it and when I went back to the counter I told the sales girl that was helping me “I had this pink blush but it’s finished and now I’d like a peachy blush” and she looked at me like I told her I ate my baby or something... like the concept of picking a tone and then finishing the product completely and then moving onto a new product was insane 😂 life was easier back then
Watching project panners has scared me away from buying cheek products that are super pigmented or weigh over 5 grams 😅 I love the satisfaction of panning my products but boy does it take dedication and patience
In 2012 I bought my one and only blush that I had until 2018. Lancome Blush Subtil in Miel Glace. I wore it I’d say a safe average of 20x a month and it took me SIX years to Pan!! Now I own dozens of blushes so I’ll never pan any
Blush! And that's also one of my favourite categories to buy. It's made me realise that I really have enough to last me a while and I can save up instead. Also, good to know such type of products are worth our money when it lasts us this long despite using it regularly.
@@SarahRoseBeauty I know right!! The blush I'm currently working on since the last few months almost exclusively just doesn't move! I was so tempted to poke it and see if it has a never ending bottom! 😂
Highlighter! I’ve been woking on a highlighter stick for about 8 months and I’m only halfway through! Update: finished it in Sept 2023, almost 2 years later…
I must just use a genuinely ungodly amount of that stuff, then. I got a highlight stick from Colourpop last July and ten months later it's giving up the ghost on me. To be fair, I wear makeup almost every day and I look like a freshly moistened salamander so I think I'm more excessive in my use than the average person
This is a super helpful video. I have a very small supply of cheek products (1 blush, 1 highlighter, 2 bronzers and 1 blush/highlighter combo). This has taught me to NOT accumulate more in this area because what I have will take a while to finish. And since I have barely made a dent in most of these products and have used many quite a bit, I have already learned that. Interesting to hear about lip gloss too, I use to have a lot more but donated a lot to my nieces and just have a handful now. Anyway, very insightful and your channel has really helped me become more mindful of what I have and not to add loads more to it. Thanks for that!
I've seen someone in the panning community go through lip glosses like nothing and it always confused me. Glad to know I'm not alone lol I know we are all different and formulas are different too though
I think I have finished/hit pan on a total of two blushes my whole life. A coral blush from Canmake (it was super small and very softly packed) and Nars Organism, that's back when I only own one blush at a time. After owning many more blushes, I have come to realize that I only look good in coral or peachy pink, and you can always just layer it to change the tone a little bit. And those samples you get sometimes for free from buying other beauty products is not a bad idea if you want to own different colors. I also regret buying a lot of lip products, as those really do go bad very quickly. I am able to go thorough them quite quickly though, as I am very good at reapplying thorough the day. I can go thorough a lipgloss in 2 weeks, but matte lip sticks and lip tints do last forever. Eyebrow pencils also get use up pretty quickly, as I would do my brow even when I don't wear makeup sometimes. I have hit pan on some eyeshadows, usually the topper shades, and one Colourpop super shock (but that could be due to the fact that they are squishy?) I absolutely don't see myself hitting pan in any highlight in my whole entire life, as I have totally stop doing it. I do use them to highlight my eye corner sometimes, but they can easily be replaced by using other eyeshadows. I have been slowly downsizing my makeup collection, and have not been buying unless I need it. I just have too many things that are not getting used. And you know what, I have actually been happier, as I can appreciate each item I own better, and not be frustrated to keep switching products, only to find out I end up with a similar look more often than not. That being said, I really enjoy your channel and your esthetics!
Bronzers, blushes, and highlighters lasts forever to hit pan, yet alone to be finished! I dedicately use the balm mary lou manizer highlighter and bahama mama bronzer for years and years. In a few months, I'll be using them up, it's so exciting!
I feel the same way about blushes and highlighters. They take such a long time to pan, not to mention using up. So I changed my goal that if I used 200 times, that is enough for me 🤣
Your makeup looks extra fantastic in this video. Thank you for making these videos. They really help me tamp down the urge to buy things I don't really need.
I used up 2 naked 3 palettes, took me 6 years, TF natural eyes palette 1 time took me 2 1/2 years, maybelline color tattoo took me 8 months, RMS lip2cheek took me 15 months to pan, coloupop eyeshadow in ladybird took me 5 months. Neutrogena tinted moisturizer took me 16 months, the mini dr jart cream took me 10 months, bare minerals mini foundation takes me 28 months, RMS living luminizer took 2 1/2 years, RMS uncoverup took me 3 years. Makeup takes so long to use up
Hey girl congrats on 12K. Enjoyed your vid as always. Thankful that you focus on mindful consumerism, and trying to get the most out of your products! What a good example you are, you've really changed my perspective!
Surprisingly, i hit pan and finish up eyeshadow fairly quickly 🤔 Because I'm very good at using the same palette over and over again (since I don't wanna think too much on my color combinations on work days), they are finished up fairly quickly. Also, I usually choose eyeshadow palettes that are not too pigmented to finish up 😁 some of my eyeshadows from revolution, are needed to be built and built up
Highlighter. I hit pan in both my ABH glow kit ones and it took me all year to get both those pans. Now I am focusing on one and I have panned half of it but its all I have worn. Bronzers and blushes usually take a year to use up. Or at least 6-8 months sometimes if its not brand new. I have never panned an eyeshadow hit pan but never fully finished one.
This was fun!! This is my first year project panning and I've loved everything about the process so far. 😁 Definitely choosing a mix of easy and hard products has been key! 👌🏻🌻
I'm currently working on different types of cream products. I have pan in so many of them, but they have still been going strong! I need to remember to multitask my lipstick because it is getting up there in age, but I wear it as typical lipstick most days and it still won't die! Lol After I finish my two cream bronzers I've been working on, I'm going to be working on my full size, barely used Milk Makeup Bronzer stick... I will definitely be tracking how long that thing will take me!
I have still never hit pan on a blush. They usually expire before I can naturally (not “drilling” or putting in a project) hit pan 😭 I did a declutter the other day so hopefully it will be easier to use what I have and maybe hit pan!🤞🏽
I’ve been trying to pan my NYX butter gloss in Creme Brûlée for like the last year 😂 I’m almost ready to pull out the stopper but dang theres a lot of volume in that product
Anything made of powder I find hard to use up. lol. I'm light handed so products take me AGES to use. I've got a blush i've used every day for 4 months straight and it still looks brand new. *sigh* Highlighters too. Eyeshadows I can forget about. lol. I've kind of given up panning and i'm just aiming to focus on some items for a bit until I get bored, then move on. Helps stop me from shopping and still rotate through what I own. :)
The first and only highlighter I purchased was the Amrezy ABH highlighter and I just hit pan on it last week. At this rate I'm not sure if I'll ever use up the whole thing!
I get people who like to collect or have a selection, but just as much, this is why I personally refuse to have more than a couple blushes at a time. I've used the same Maybelline Fit Me for around 6 months before. That was like pretty much everyday, even on days off from work if I went out. Anything MAC I'm meh on since I know it would take years. An eyeshadow either used as eyeshadow or as a brow product lasted me a year all three times that I can remember. Such a bummer remembering this since I can't remember the name of the sparkly pink one I used as an eyeshadow 😭😭💔💔
I bought 4 of those color icons from WnW when they were repackaged (super deal). They were still cruelty free back then. 😢 I suspect they will last forever.
Omg I finally hit pan on my wetnwild blush (my last update vid) and that felt amazing but even expanding it is tough seeing that took you an additional couple years to finish.... Oh no 😅😅
I have been trying to use up a Wet n Wild blush for a while. I finally hit pan on the Wet n Wild illuminating powder in Catwalk pink. That one took forever. Bronzer is also had to pan. I panned a PF bronzer, but haven't finished it.
@@barbaraaly6186 wow you hit pan on the highlighter too! Colour face products really can be tough!.I'm so close to hitting pan on my first highlighter. i wouldn't repurchase the wet n wild quad since unfortunately they are no longer cruelty free! and many of these other products are no longer sold. the only one i could see myself repurchasing would be the nyx butter gloss. hope that helps!
A tarte mini blush took me 2 years of using it about 5-6 times a week. The benefit hoola bronzer took me about 13 months wearing it 5-6 times a week. I started panning that when it already had pan. A makeup revolution highlighter took me 13 months of the same usage and that highlighter I believe had 15g in it. Now it took me 5 months to use a 1.15g of highlighter mini from Becca. 🤯 I don't know why blush is so hard 😂
How do I repurpose a glittery highlighter apart from using it as an eyeshadow? Please help! I tried mixing it with moisturizers but the glitter particles still stand out.
What makeup product has taken you the longest to use up, and about how long did it take you??
Bronzers take me a full year to finish. So I learned to just have one at a time.
Elf loose powder, took me 250 or so total uses (I didnt talky the first few, but 244 for sure!) over 14 months😱
