Be careful with older items. I just gave myself an eye infection with my old nabla singles (powder shadows). Usually I have just a little eye soreness and will throw out a palette or shadow (pretty rare). But it’s been worse this time. Continue to check smells and appearance, especially items around the eyes. I’ve definitely learned my lesson. 😢
@@Kristina-yr6xg i agree, this new idea of not putting preservatives in makeup (well have it in food, and we eat that, at least make-up just washes off) but if it goes bad quickly, they can sell you more and more... no more project pans, project 'spot the mould' before it gives you a sore eye!!!
Agreed. I’ve had my ABH modern renaissance palette for over 8-10 years (insane, I know) and it still performs well and I have no issues. I think it’s these newer brands that have these issues
Smells are Big memory joggers, if it was a bad time, give it away, you don't need to be reminded.... its not healthy for you. I can remember my mum, (always cooked from scratch) and I loved her vegetable soup, the smell of her hands after chopping all the vegetables, I like to put mu hands up to my face and breathe deeply when I've chopped a lot of veg, it reminds me of her and I feel she's close again 😢💔 it's better to smell things that have Good Memories ❤❤❤❤
@@lynettefinnigan9540 I consider doing that! Thank you ❤ also, sorry for your loss.. but love for you that you can connect that smell to a loved person and good memories 😊
One thing that I do for perfumes that make me upset when I wear them is using them as a room spray. That may not be great for you but it can be an easy way to help use it up
I'm also planning to use up my face primers, because I realised that most of the time, my skincare is all I need for a base under my foundation. I especially want to get rid of the grippy primers because I don't particularly like how they feel on my skin.
Yes, i too think that skin prep is enough, unless I'm going to a day event (like a wedding or something) and you want the make-up to look good for a long time, then I use a drippy primer and a setting spray
Yay so excited for you to do no pan left behind. I had so much fun doing that this year and I also did this with new items so I broke the habit of just acquiring and letting things sit and it was fun! I will also be aiming for 25 in 2025 and like you trying to target lips, eyeliners and more pans! Most categories I want to have 1 leave and I also have a 2 out 1 in rule.
That’s a lot of products and I commend you for doing that many! I am getting ready to declutter so many things because I find I don’t use makeup probably half the days of the month and I’ve greatly simplified the looks I do when I do wear makeup. I’m just over the whole overconsumption phase of life and ready to get rid of stuff-not just makeup.
I've never done a dedicated project pan, but there are definitely products that I want to use up this coming year. I am 100% committed to only "purchasing to replace" in 2025!
I don't know how or why, but of all the panning content creators, you are the one that inspires me the most afterwards to go pick out products to pan, or go see my own progress, etc. Like I leave your videos wanting to actually pan something rather than "meh, yeah, I should pull that product out, but....maybe tomorrow. Next video." It's a mystery, but I love it! I do have to say Lara Likes Mascara has a bit of that feel for me, too, but either way, I'm definitely inspired after watching your videos!
Love the nails and nose ring (is that new or am I blind?)! Glad you are returning to panning more next year. I usually have too many project pans going at once so end up feeling like I’m not accomplishing enough. So I may take this approach also- 25 items plus a no pan left behind.
Excited to follow along with your progress! I’m going to try to use up 25 items in 2025 also. The Elf Halo Glow is on my list too - probably my most ambitious product because I have a lot left and don’t feel like I use much when I do use it…will see how it goes!🤷♀️
I have been doing a yearly project 22 in 22, 23 in 23, 24 in 24 for the last several years. For me, I have found that if I pick products ahead of time, I tend to not get done, overwhelmed and far from goal. If i just set that # and be aware of what is “close”. I tend to just use the same things everyday until something gets done. XO Davita
I am panning for two years. The first year i panned 31 items and surprisingly this year 43 items. It can sometimes go quicker than you think if you pickup already used items.
I think I’m going to do a 6 month no-buy for lips and do a lip project pan. I have soooo many and I end up using up the ones I like, but then I buy more and don’t use what I have.
My ELF Halo Glow says 12 months. I got the new shade .5 whenever it was that they extended the shade range, so I guess they changed it around that time.
My Melt Hydro primer started pilling on me in a very short amount of time. It absolutely balled up all over my face and looked TERRIBLE. It didn't so that in the beginning. Had to throw it out about 6 mo after I bought it.
So happy to see other project pan videos! I also just started this process if anyone wants to support a new channel. If anyone has any tips or suggestions for my project pan, I would love to hear them! 💙th-cam.com/video/_zcAkyO7bR8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FEgADqIr8_MK_cXD

Oh no! How old were those shadows?
This newer clean beauty items and brands don't have enough preservatives in it. I have old palettes and they are still good.

For the uoma highlight you could consider using it on the collarbone during the holidays and maybe even the shoulders. Just a nice little glow.
I want to "pan" a perfume😂 I had it for so long, I love the scent but it reminds me of a time in life I was not doing well

Rather give it away.
Your outfits have been so good recently 🤌🤌✨ the hair and pink shirt today looks amazing on you 😩💖
Yes, that shade of pink looks amazing!
Omg thank you!☺️

Great list! super excited for your project pans to make a come back! I'm currently working on my 25 for 2025 list

You could tight line your upper waterline with the black eyeliner to use it up, just adds some definition to your lash line !!

the jewellery is stunning 😍
the no pan left behind idea sounds great. i think i want to do that with my eyeshadows, too.

If it’s not new, then I’m blind too 😅
Thank you! Yes the nose ring is new!
I love this makeup look, so beautiful! 😍

Very ambitious plan! I have too much makeup, so I’ll be panning next year too. 😀
Thanks, looking forward to follow along 💖💖💖

So excited to see how you do with these products. I fell off panning in the later part of 2024 and really want to get back to it in 2025
The elf hydrating core lippies are easy to pan! I’ve finished two myself without even trying 😊
Yay!! I think those should be fun to pan
mine started as a project pan and ended up getting declutterred 💀 YMMV
I am panning for two years. The first year i panned 31 items and surprisingly this year 43 items. It can sometimes go quicker than you think if you pickup already used items.

Love this video! You also look GORGEOUS today!! The hair, the eye look, the shirt - STUNNING!
I love the necklace you are wearing, so beautiful.
I absolutely love the pink on you! It is definitely your color
You need to use the milk primer with waterbased foundations like nars reflecting foundation.
I love the short hair!
I bought those earrings a couple weeks ago. I really like them.
I'm so happy to see you doing a project piano again! I'm sure you'll do great.
pan not piano 😊
🎹
@Mhgoodmanmtg 😁
Omg I’ve had that NYX concealer for like 3 years!! I can only use the tiniest amount as it spreads so much but I’m soo keen to finish it 😅
omggg I want the necklace you're wearing. it's been sitting in my cart. I may just have to do it
I was trying to use up my milk hydro grip this year im not going to finish 😂 so ill be rolling it over to 2025
It is so big!!
I want to use up 5 things next year. If I'm lucky, I will use up more, like I did this year (target of 4, but used up 8).
My ELF Halo Glow says 12 months. I got the new shade .5 whenever it was that they extended the shade range, so I guess they changed it around that time.
That's good to know - mine expired so fast so hopefully they changed the formula.
You look so pretty ❤
My elf halo glow definitely went bad (smelled so bad and sour) after 9 months. Was rly sad because I didn’t expect that from elf.
Thank you for this film ❤️ And greetings from Poland 😁❤️
Looking for a drugstore dupe for that CT cream shaddow!
Hi, what nails do you have on?
Me too i hope i could hit pan on blush 💔it’s so hard
Love you, love the video. Thanks for not pushing the $40/mo Anna Luisa Luxe program in this video. ❤
Fyi my halo glow expired so so quickly. Check how it smells before you use it!
Mine smelt bad when it expired, if you think it's changed that's probably a bad sign.
the elf lippies don't actually come with that much product so be aware
