We were just in the Omaha/Bennington area last week-end visiting our grandchildren and the tree colors were amazing!! I didn't realize how many trees the area has. I was thinking the same thing as I listened to her! I am in my 60s and, although I still love it when people compliment me on my home or a specific thing about me that they admire, I am not nearly as concerned about what others think as I did when I was younger. Oh my goodness Kristen, I had to hop on and comment!! Your home is absolutely beautiful and all of your videos and I mean all of them are very very inspiring to me!!! I love how are you bring vintage and Thrift goods into your home! I just want you to know that I would consider myself to be creative, but I also don’t think I am super good at home decor. That being said, I think you bring a very unique and cozy feel to your home into this channel. I think what you do is incredible, and you are very gifted. I don’t know what other people comment that make you feel otherwise, but that’s what’s so beautiful about art and creativity… you can be as unique as you want, and everything is completely up to you. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you think it’s beautiful and you think it’s fun then that’s exactly what it is! Just know that I am a huge fan of yours, and the scripture at the end of your videos really brings things into perspective as well. :) The only thing that I would try to change would be hanging the TV if you can! I love the guest bedroom so much. My husband isn’t super into vintage or antique’s so I can incorporate a ton but I’m hoping that changes in the future😂 I love the paintings and old photos!!!

Lots of beautiful things in this video…the outside colors for certain, the BEAUTIFULLY decorated home you have made for you and your family, and, most importantly, the verbal message you just shared! “Don’t let criticism or flattery change the message God wants you to share”. We all need to hear this! As someone who simply enjoys watching someone’s fall tour on you tube, I absolutely had (nor do I still) no idea how this whole “numbers game” works! Yeesh! But I will say, as someone who has seen many you tubers’ decorated homes, they are all different! Some HUGE and modern, some chalet/mountain designs, some old Victorian farm houses and restored homes like yours, and I enjoy looking at them all! I wish viewers would also enjoy each home for the type it is. Not all are going to love modern furnishings and not all are going to love antiques, but each is unique in and of themselves and there really is something to admire in each! I love looking at homes like yours…so filled with antique beauty and coziness! What a beautiful job you’ve done. Try to remember when you’re reading comments from people, they somehow feel it’s their business or responsibility or something to critique because you put yourselves “out there” and they might be forgetting that a person has worked SUPER hard to put their best into their content. I love decorating and my home is pretty nice but I have learned that people I invite to my house are intimidated and than they treat me different. It has broken my heart. I love to have my home pretty more for myself and never to show off or make someone feel bad. I am a very friendly person and would never do to others what is happening to me. We were just in the Omaha/Bennington area last week-end visiting our grandchildren and the tree colors were amazing!! I didn't realize how many trees the area has. I was thinking the same thing as I listened to her! I am in my 60s and, although I still love it when people compliment me on my home or a specific thing about me that they admire, I am not nearly as concerned about what others think as I did when I was younger. Oh my goodness Kristen, I had to hop on and comment!! Your home is absolutely beautiful and all of your videos and I mean all of them are very very inspiring to me!!! I love how are you bring vintage and Thrift goods into your home! I just want you to know that I would consider myself to be creative, but I also don’t think I am super good at home decor. That being said, I think you bring a very unique and cozy feel to your home into this channel. I think what you do is incredible, and you are very gifted. I don’t know what other people comment that make you feel otherwise, but that’s what’s so beautiful about art and creativity… you can be as unique as you want, and everything is completely up to you. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you think it’s beautiful and you think it’s fun then that’s exactly what it is! Just know that I am a huge fan of yours, and the scripture at the end of your videos really brings things into perspective as well. :)
The only thing that I would try to change would be hanging the TV if you can! I love the guest bedroom so much. My husband isn’t super into vintage or antique’s so I can incorporate a ton but I’m hoping that changes in the future😂 I love the paintings and old photos!!!

Lots of beautiful things in this video…the outside colors for certain, the BEAUTIFULLY decorated home you have made for you and your family, and, most importantly, the verbal message you just shared! “Don’t let criticism or flattery change the message God wants you to share”. We all need to hear this! As someone who simply enjoys watching someone’s fall tour on you tube, I absolutely had (nor do I still) no idea how this whole “numbers game” works! Yeesh! But I will say, as someone who has seen many you tubers’ decorated homes, they are all different! Some HUGE and modern, some chalet/mountain designs, some old Victorian farm houses and restored homes like yours, and I enjoy looking at them all! I wish viewers would also enjoy each home for the type it is. Not all are going to love modern furnishings and not all are going to love antiques, but each is unique in and of themselves and there really is something to admire in each! I love looking at homes like yours…so filled with antique beauty and coziness! What a beautiful job you’ve done. Try to remember when you’re reading comments from people, they somehow feel it’s their business or responsibility or something to critique because you put yourselves “out there” and they might be forgetting that a person has worked SUPER hard to put their best into their content. I, for one, appreciate every minute you put into this as I love seeing different homes with different looks and furnishings! Who wants to look at the same thing in every video?! Not me. I love decorating and my home is pretty nice but I have learned that people I invite to my house are intimidated and than they treat me different. It has broken my heart. I love to have my home pretty more for myself and never to show off or make someone feel bad. I am a very friendly person and would never do to others what is happening to me.
