10 years later and I still come back to this video. This version of “I’ve got your number” is one of my favorite songs from passion pit.
Michael, I hope you see this, know that I hope you’re doing well, and that sharing the turbulence of your life and work has had a huge and positive impact on me.
Much love,
Madison
I hope he is doing well too. I haven't seen a new song from Passion Pit in a while.
My favorite part is when Xander messes up in Sleepyhead and Michael shoots a grin his way after the song, but he sees Xander is embarrassed and mad at himself, so he talks about how hard it is to do this kind of show without much time to practice and then laughs about how silly the Take A Walk beat sounds to lighten the mood and make Xander laugh and feel better.
this man is a fucking boss... he is probably one of the most talented and progressive artist out there right now
Take A Walk = Masterpiece
Saw Passion Pit twice in Sydney in the mid 2010's. They are an awesome band. and yes we all love you Michael.
This is probably the greatest video I've ever seen. Passion Pit is brilliant. And Michael is absolutely perfect.
I decided to listen to the original EP that put passion pit on the map. I was blown away by the record and I've got your number and a couple other songs on it are amazing. I've got your number is one of my favorite songs of all time right now
Moth's Wings is gorgeous. Too perfect for words.
One of their best. Keep on performing like this guys
I just saw them live for the first time last night. They are genuinely such an amazing band. I was front row and I caught a drum stick at the end. Even this amazing performance does them no justice. Every fan should go see them live at least once!!
Thank God for the Palm Prio, for it brought me to love Passion Pit.
Que buenos son estos conciertos de kexp!.
Whether he's talking or singing or laughing, I LOVE Michael Angelakos' voice!
I want to see them live so bad!
i know someone will dislike the vid eventually, but idc. in this time period, i see it as a flawless performance. fucking high as fuck
Constant Conversations!!
'Take a walk' really made me emotional along with constant conversations, I wonder how some tunes have such a strong influence that it just make your heart and mind so vulnerable.
This is my favorite version of everything. Thank you.
Man who doesn't eh? The world is a better place with them in it.
OMG THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.
HERMOSURA
This is just perfect .
God I love me some Passion Pit!
Excellent!
I love how they come together with the instruments and create music 😭
So gooooood!
Passion Pit rocks "Gossamer"... Creative stuff from these dudes!
I love the fact that Michael plays old songs acoustic
Perfect...
new favorite video on youtube, I've watched it at least 10 times in the past two days
(i die a little bit inside at the perfection of 3:54)
great stuff
00:35 I've Got Your Number
4:45 Constant Conversations
10:52 Moth's Wings
14:16 Sleepyhead
18:02 Take a Walk
23:08 Love Is Greed
Though his voice isn't the only thing I love about him. :3
glorious
There is a reason why there is no dislikes at all
Michael is so perfect
i thought the original versions could not be made any better...never have i been so wrong
Sleepyhead was so fucking good
Easily one of their best live performances
This is really very nice. Who says there's no talent and good stuff nowadays?? Good music es everywhere, in every decade and, in my opinion, in *almost* every genre. You just need to find it and keep some sort of distance of all the mainstream shit that somehow always tries to find you.
Just watched that awkward version of sleepyhead the other day. I really enjoyed it because they went totally off the rails and got totally out of time with the samples so instead the just kinda partied with it at some point. It was totally different but fun for me
Lol @ 21:25 ouchie
10 años ya? Que alguien me explique 😮
can I like this video twice?
im in tranquility
It's too bad there's no video from when they played live in Seattle at Bumbershoot... it was amazing, much better than any other live video I've seen on youtube of Passion Pit (aside from this acoustic)
Sleepyhead sounds soooooooo much better here.
「あなたのコンテンツはとても感動的です」、
no its something different take a look at 16:20 - 16:28 if so its a design i haven't seen from fender
I love the FTC
michael angelakos is so perfect
michael is..i can't exactly describe it.
I love Passion pit... a lot! :D and I love to my girlfriend, but more to Passion P xD
At 14:10 did that guy in the audience say “is he drunk?” Cuz damn if he was he sure played it off well
Tbf he was high most of the time back then

Funny story. I went to see Passion Pit when they were here in Miami, I was a little tipsy. I ended up calling Michael by the wrong name. So embarrassing! I called him Ian! (Other band member)
I sold the drummer heroin back in 2012 when he came through Philadelphia for their tour. They played at the Electric Factory that night and I got VIP. Real talk.
+Ron Smith .. for real? dang. at least the main guy isn't on that.
ghostie7790 Yeah, he bought $500 worth, met me through Reddit. The lead singer was locked up in a mental institution because he was struggling with suicide. They have been through some stuff, good people.
well damn! Thanks for sharing.
Travis Brandner LOL, I was the middleman for a junkie, junkies are the scourge of society.
+Ron Smith I smoked pot with Johnny Hopkins
Mostly good reactions from everyone. But yeah, this might not be their best performance. But Michael can literally scream on the top of his lungs in my ears and I would be like: wow, perfection. He could do no wrong to me, he could have my first child if he wanted. HAHAHAHA
actually check out the sleepyhead on kexp video, it is SO funny :')
The Piano Player on the right side from Pepper Rabbit....!
based it on the body. but it might be an eko guitar. but it has more knobs than a usual electric so i really dont know
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA that is sooooooooo funny!!!!! ..............
sleepyhead
What is that electric guitar!!!!
dear friend as you know...... :)
lolol yes
Look again
I know most people watching this are girls wanting to see Michael lol
Yeah you can tell he noticed as he was playing...and the fact they slated themselves after that song, haha. The out of tune guitar in Take A Walk was nasty too. I sound like I hate this band but they are one of my favorites ;D
where's Nate?
The "S" in Seattle looks like a dollar sign.
Who is the other guy ?
You cannot expect much from a heavy synth band.
I didnt think they were bad.
yeh same well hopefully someone will know....anyone???
I think its a fender jag
They're ok.
THIS IS SO FUCKING SUGOI
Jack Antonoff and Joaquin Phoenix on the synths there
Does look like Jack
18:08 oh my bleeding ears
I think in a live performance Michael should attempt to use his diaphragm more to reach the high notes with his stomach rather than using a large amount of head voice
I'm sure he'll take you right up on that
18:08 wtf?
Yf
Awkward performance, but that Love is Greed was great.
Very dislike that beat crashing on constant conversation. That snare needs serious limiting. Washes everything else out!
I hate my PC
Ребят, извините, но это, сущее г..но!
Awkwardness is like natural selection for cowards
Pretty tight. However the other keyboardist kind of sucks. He can't play on beat to save his life on the chorus of sleepyhead.
He's not very comfortable on guitar.
Like their songs but i hate this performance, somehow so awkward, off and not even comfortable to sing....
deskha deskha He sounds terrible! Like some random dude just got on stage.
It's all striped down too. Low energy
lolol no
false
They're not as good live :(
Honestly I did not like this performance. They could have done a lot better. It was kind of boring.
Really not good live
boring like most alt bands. where's the energy? and his voice really blows.
Im the only one who thinks he actually cant sing?
I didn't like the live versions/interpretations but I do like his voice.
Maria Ignacia Romero yes
Maria Ignacia Romero 9:02, bro
+Maria Ignacia Romero no... there aren't many of us but you are definitely not the only one. He cannot sing. I saw them live and he was off key most of the time.
+Gary Larson Actually in the lower parts ... that are actually in his range ... he has a fine voice. It's when he goes crazy falsetto live that it gets way off key and is basically just squealing.
I've Got Your Number 0:00
Constant Conversations 4:46
Moth's Wings 10:55
Sleepyhead 14:15
Take a Walk 17:55
