Regarding your question, yes you can without any issue we have upgrade this to 64gb, we use this compatible rams: amzn.to/46yxn2j
the 4800 wont work you need to go max 3200 and the bios will auto adjust to the max ram speed it can take the 64gb, the more GB the Mhz will be adjusted automatically lower.
as this is a laptop the bios doesn't have the XMP option, you you left with auto adjust.

My Rog Strix g17 109w model came with single 16Gb 5200Mhz. After I replaced the old one with 2X32Gb 5200Mhz my laptop keep getting event41 error and also having screen flickering. How can i fix that please sir.

Hey my Rog laptop maximum ram 4800mhz but my processeur mobile amd ryzen 9 7845hx max ram speed itâs 5200mhz which is a maximumðĒâĪ please brother ðĒð
ðŦ Regarding your question, you can place a 5200mhz and the motherboard will auto adjust to the max ram that it can run, even if the cpu can handle the 5200 but the bios has to support and your bios can only handle 4800mhz, so get the 5200 and install
