Was impressed with Luke Yates, especially considering he only came across this week and maybe had a couple of training sessions. Also did a fantastic try saving tackle.
Am a Wigan fan you can't say peak for us now we've got 7 more games till french is back and another 4 or so without field, we will be relying on defence and smiths short kicking game to win games our attack is obviously going to struggle and drop of with our the likes of them 2, hopefully we keep getting the results
@@ryanmcguinness7898 I think we'll do enough to win the shield without French and Field. Farrimond and Eckersley have really stepped up. What is imperative is that Brad O'Neill remains fit and is careful with his tackle technique. He was sorely missed against Saints last Friday, not just his tackling but his distribution at the ptb. That really disrupted our attack with Smith having to do the dummy half work. As you say French & Field and also Leeming back next month.
@@waughy9103 I wasn't holding mine anyway mate 🤣 but that the worst performance by any super league team we deserved it to finish 24 4 would of been harsh if we could back and won
Funny isn't it that, sent off for direct contact with the head with force & no mitigation, get no HIA for the stains player 🤷 funny how they can change the rules on the fly when it comes to the stains
It's absolutely not a shoulder charge, and when has a tackle in a collision sport NOT being with force? This isn't a red in NRL. Also doing this (red and yellows) won't reduce head injuries, lower tackling increases head injuries for tacklers though but that seemingly is all ok.
Are your eyes painted on? Clearly direct shoulder to head and that's a red in today's game no matter how much you wish it was still 1995. Only thing questionable about it is why wasn't the saints player sent for a HIA afterwards?
@@stoneagepig3768 If you slow it down, Harrison's head actually hits Stephens shoulder a split second before he makes contact with his head. That's enough for him to lose full control of the tackle, and why Wire were about to take him off for a HIA. it was completely accidental. Hopefully, disciplinary sees this, but I doubt it
Good job wire kept giving cards away, otherwise it would have been 20+ margin of victory. Saints squad is held together by spit and Kleenex, and the only players offering anything are the young kids. Must’ve bombed about 10 tries between this game and the cas one, attack is atrocious atm
Wellens taken club backwards. It looks like another season with no domestic trophy. The board need to invest in players. It's hard to believe this is a club who won 4 titles in a row along with a challenge cup and world club trophy.
@St.Helensbestteamintheworld ooooh here he is the haydock cabbage did you get into.the ground tonight disguised as security Any luck? whats the next attempt dress up as hot dog seller 😂
First Comment. 1:09 when they start talking "No mitigating factors" that's when you know it's a red card. It's gonna be a send off and unfortunately for James Harrison rightfully so under the laws of the game. Far too high in the tackle
Kendall usually kills games and makes it all about him but fair play yesterday with his red card for engineering a contest for the neutrals. Without the red it would have been a no contest.
It's not a shoulder charge ffs, the tackler wraps his arm, every collision in rugby is 'with force'. Penalty, yellow card at worst. This won't stop head injuries or head clashes in a fast moving sport where bodies are changing positions in a split second unless you make it a touch to tackle sport. Players going lower to tackle increases head injuries for would be tacklers, surely player safety has to be considered from both aspects right?
Im life long wigan fan but i enjoy watching rugby all together and saints are normally great to watch but they look poor i did call it before the start of season and i think they should sack wellens
Im so soryy to say this but rugby is officially spoiled, thats never a red car. Not even a yellow. It a normal tackle,, didn't know saints were wossies. Please dont en up like football for god sake
The number 41 has superb game in D & runs strong for Wolves
Was impressed with Luke Yates, especially considering he only came across this week and maybe had a couple of training sessions. Also did a fantastic try saving tackle.
This has got to be a peak season for us wigan fans. Winning nearly all the time whilst stains sink down the table. Beltin

Whilst currently getting battered by us (Hull) whom could beat an egg this season!, f.king hilarious pompous comment from a goon!
Wouldn't hold my breath after that performance

@DrayDrayn ples man! He got the man of the match from this game. U sa watchim game too or kam pairap faul stap!
3:45 classic dufty :D
Mighty try by Dufty, the said hit to head barely affected player in th send off, wonderful effort Wolves to win

I'm not sure the commentary team touched on it, did Saints have some players missing? 🤣
Good job Burges..💪💪
Outstanding by the wire😂💛💙
Super league is better to watch than NRL!!
This is coming from a NRL fan all my life. Wish I was up there to watch.
Turned out nice again. 2 more years please Paul 😂
Long may this saints run continue - this is just too funny to watch 😂
Fourpeat 😂
Great effort wire 💪
Never a send-off. Just two players tall in contact and one guy goes into the shoulder. Perhaps a yellow. Big Sam is doing well with Warrington.

Really enjoyed that
Harrison's "tackle" tbh looks like they've both accidentally clashed heads. Where was the "shoulder to the head" 🤨🤔

Still can't believe they put my friend on the camera (when suits scored) 😂
*saints
They're cracking up😂🎶🎉
Well done on beating the stains
No ones mentioned Mark Percival should have been at the very least yellow carded for punching Paul Vaughan.
Looks like Saints are slipping off that top club in the world throne xD
Hes very quiet at the moment 😂
Said it when the new boss came in we were set for a big down time from being a force... 😢
Seems the lesson is don’t employ club legends as coaches.

1:57 that's literally just a good tackle? 😂

Duffers can still fly. If only he could tackle!
Should of been sent off
Yep, reason he never reached his potential in OZ

How did the ref need the video ref for the first saints try, he is literally inches away with no restricted view, clown!
Not a red card in a million years, yellow yes
Pathetic
Refs are ruining the game and so is Sky
