The tour, organized by the Kent Law School in collaboration with civil society organisations, highlight properties owned by Diezani Alison-Madueke and Kola Aluko in Lagos State.
Tracking Noxious Funds is a week-long conference, which has facilitators from Kent Law School at the University of Kent, and sponsored by the MacArthur Foundation with the Institute of International Education (IIE).

Not terribly impressed by the quality of the buildings, going by the supposed price tags. Methinks the scammers were themselves being scammed! One of two things will now become of these properties - either they end up with APC folks (perhaps the Jagaban himself) or they’ll just sit there and rot (like the Waves Building on Ozumba Mbadiwe Rd). Either way, the Nigerian taxpayer will loses. Next!

That was my first thought and the money goes into the hands of largely foreign contractors who put up these very average buildings. I remember a Lebanese guy telling me that when the Chagorys were last in Beirut they bought out a whole bar for one evening for around 20,000 to 30,000 pounds. All of that money was probably derived from Nigeria..

Where were this ppl in early '90s when Tinubu and other activist were fighting for this democracy? They ran away to the east, lying that they were going for new yam festival, the Yoruba's fought against the military and brought about demo, Tinubu was almost killed with Fayemi. I've been to the first apartment complex it looks really fancy outside with the address being banana island but it's honestly worse than my flat in lekki, that was honestly my first impression, the environment, pools and courts are the only things justifying the price tag

if you're talking about the first part, its an estate in banana island with 3 blocks of luxury flats, I've been there but its pretty bad in my opinion. According to this, she owns the top floor of one of the buildings (the non penthouse ones are only half of one floor, they go for about 400M+++ naira or more to buy) but I've heard that she owns and built the whole place. idk. rumours sha i'd go with this video for facts

We are all aware of the many corruptions plaguing our nation, Nigeria, but splashing it all over social media via videos or write ups does not proffer solutions. People who engage in such practices are urged to do their part by making a difference and provide solutions. Let us go back to the drawing board and recruit fresh thinkers with a good grasp on the constitution to move Nigeria forward.
