I paid close to 3m to have my building plan approved by Lagos state government in Ajah axis. I always advise people not to patronize those so called government workers who take your money. Pay to the state government and wait till it is approved legally
@@femtey4452 This is true because 2.8 was what I paid to Lagos state government and when I factor in every other cost, I was around 3.8m. But it is good to get this things done to avoid pains a decade later

It talks about real estate investment in Nigeria, but most of the video focuses on Makarios luxury homes (which look amazing, by the way!). He also has this inspiring vision of building a legacy and revamping Nigeria's image. Love! love! love! On a real note, the video got real when he talked about losing money because he didn't do his research, perhaps due to his trust in the governor's dad. He mentioned investing in land without a proper Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) from the right authority. But hey, that's the risk of the game, right? The good news is, the video dives deep into the whole C of O process with the Lagos State Government. It seems like a lot of work (and maybe some serious cash), but at least now we know what to expect! Bravo Pastor Matthew ❤

Nigeria is such a funny place. Same thing happens in Abuja some years ago and we had politicians stealing billions of public funds and put it in banking and real estate through some of their friends and today if you go to many estates in Abuja the houses are empty because cheap and free money built them. Few days ago we heard that the former governor of the Nigerian Central bank just refunded the Tinubu government 4 trillion naira stolen. Politicians are looting Nigeria and diverting to cronies and in Nigeria today only the corrupt politicians and their family and friends that will pay half a billion for all this megamenic real estate. The past 9 years government in Nigeria has been captured of government for privilege few.
Some e finally said it. In a much as real estate appreciates, these folks just be throwing around huge figures which only those scavenging on the treasure can afford.

It's true the government can requisition land belonging to private individuals for public purposes in the name of greater good ,only after proper compensation. However In Africa and in Nigeria in particular it's done to sometimes destroy enemies of politicians ,the recent case of Land Mark beach, where the government of Nigeria had the possibility to preserve over twelve thousand jobs of director indirect employment but preferred to destroy the enterprise of hardworking Nigerians because they hated the Iboh entrepreneur,only to tend back after carrying out destruction of businesses to claim they could not continue the project along the beach area
I hope as the wealthy move into these areas other places of Lagos become cheap for the avg man. Development should not only favor the upper middle class or Uber wealthy

There's nothing new there. It's known. That's why most of those properties beside the road usually have Govt. Allocation as their title. Check other estates or properties sharing boundaries with Makariois.
That's a well-known fact. If any real estate agent/developer does not know that, then he/she didn't go through proper training. That's why people must do very thorough due diligence before acquiring any land/property in Lagos.

There's nothing new there. It's known. That's why most of those properties beside the road usually have Govt. Allocation as their title. Check other estates or properties sharing boundaries with Makariois.
That's a well-known fact. If any real estate agent/developer does not know that, then he/she didn't go through proper training. That's why people must do very thorough due diligence before acquiring any land/property in Lagos.
