- IMPORTANT UPDATE: Pumpboats or Bangkas can now legally ferry 2 motorcycles maximum. Many people from Iloilo City and Guimaras Island complained when they had a temporary law prohibiting motorcycle transport.
Appreciate the informative "how to" video on travel to a small island with a motorcycle. Hope I can give it a try.
Enjoy watching your video sir safe journey
He is past away 2years ago. But thank you for watching
Very cool video! Those boats are incredibly stable! Keep up the good work!
Hey Mike The other day when you said you were going to load your motorcycle on a pump boat I thought about that vid you did when they loaded a motorcycle with a skinny board on the side of a pump boat! I thought might be trouble, Glad it was a bow loader............Nice ride out nice people..........Thanks .....Jimmy....
Jordan port was built by US five star Gen Douglas Macarthur in 1903 when he was a young Lt. stationed in Guimaras Island
Looking forward for next episod. Keep up the good job!
One thing I have noticed about Philippine people - where there is a will there is a way. They will repair anything and make it work.
That's cool, those guys load your bike for ya, that has to be a heavy bike, thanks for the video Mike
***** yeah I was guessing between 300 to 500 nice bike by the way ☺ take care.
hope you gave the guys that lifted the bike out of the boat a tip too, looks like a fun trip so far
mike3367 yep-yep 6 pack of Red Horse would make their day.
Another great video Mike, thank you.
Thank you for the video, I will definitely keep in mind as soon as I get to the country in the future. just one question, does the ferry boats available in every island, in every province in the Philippines?
You still want to get your change back????
i love your videos....and we have the same motorcycle(yamaha rs110).
Did they ask you for your license
I think they are thinking that you will pay them 20 each for 5 person. That's why they don't give you the change. Nice video
***** Great attitude
Great video mike!
Mike, did you rewind your video and show THAT you paid and WHO you paid?
Maybe it wasn't necessary, in this instance, but if your camera has that option, that's a good way to do that and a good habit to get in to.
I learned from this video and will be doing just that in my travels...having video evidence that I paid and who I paid.
Yes, for sure!
In this day and age, with the technology that we have, there should, almost never, be any question about business-type transactions...take pics and vids for all things, of that nature.
Thanks for the info on the GPS, as well!
Amazing the way to get around there.
Turn off gas valve under gas tank. When transportation
Are the ferry boats privately owned or govt. owned?
I"ll remember hopefully to empty gas tank next time I board it. Very clean boat.
114php whats that in $ about $1.50 i think, not bad for a little boat trip
still not a bad price for a day out lol
+My Philippine Journey the same trip from victoria to vancouver will cost you 100$ one way on a motorcycle 30km trip
they don't have any bobber or chopper style motorcycles? They don't like those kind of motorcycles?
we have choppers here in the Philippines but they are not very common here, we usually have 75cc-155cc under bone style motorcycles
Did you tip these guys for their hard work?
This the only video I can find like this any idea how to do something like this from batangas or manila? I would like to island with my own motor if I can 😁
@@myphilippinejourneytravelinfo I been wondering about the roro good to hear it from someone though thanks a ton 👍🏻
14 PHP for the ride over! .31 USD! 60 PHP for the motorcycle! Wow that's a great deal! Looking forward to the views of Guimaras Island!

is Yamaha rs110f reliable for traveling very long distances? Because I'm about to get the same bike. I love your videos by the way.
never miss to drop by the Trappist monastery. better if you can take a video while they are doing one of their chants.

oh ok saw you smiling alot taking advantage of you i think they think all forrieners are rich we arnt
that man with a blue shirt (5:42) is drunk, they remove him from the boat
The porters wanted a tip, at either side of the channel, they all wanted to carry the bike so could get some cash :)

I would think you overcome any shyness to use a video camera in public pretty quickly to be a TH-camr. Maybe just being an American makes you unusual already. People seem interested in what you are doing.
Me i have xrm 125 xD
