Well, to be honest, we were also very concerned about it before going and the noise never ever disturbed us. Yes, you do see them often, but the waves cover their noise so it was really not an issue for us. We would very happily go back there as a "last resort of the trip" to have something nice to finish a vacation and be close to the airport :)
As for Milaidhoo, it's such a wonderful place, hard not to like it ☺️
@@hotelsdereve We are going to the Maldives in February, 16 nights in two favourites, Komandoo (7 n) and Hurawalhi (9 n). I am now looking into staying the last 2 nights on Gili. As you wrote, great place to end the holiday! :-) Anything we just MUST do if there only 2 days? //Linda

5 nights would cost around 7k$ HB transfer included (Villa Suite With Pool). Yet, it all depends on when you go. We went in August, so if you go like in February, would definitely not be the same price ...

Would be hard to tell to be honest, it's a very very close call between Gili, Milaidhoo, Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru, Anantara Kihavah and Como Cocoa Island (videos for the last 2 are coming very soon)

They are on our to-do list so we'll try to visit anytime we have the chance to :)
@@hotelsdereve Interesting that Anantara makes the grade for you, and have heard they are good from others. However, having been to their Dubai and Layan Beach properties and been very underwhelmed (the latter was terrible, frankly), and Oman (Salalah) which was just okay recently, we'd not think of going to their one in the Maldives. Be interested to see what you make of Soneva Jani and Ritz-Carlton.
Anantara Kihavah is EXCELLENT. You can't compare with what you've experienced elsewhere. Any brand will be 10x better in the Maldives because the standards are MUCH higher there.
Soneva Jani we're going in December and Ritz is not yet on our to-do list.
