      Bro make a video on University of Luxembourg as well, it shares border with Germany and France and has same level of quality of education at a very affordable price. Its World University Ranking as per Times Higher Education (THE) is 201 and in Young University Rankings 2022 its rank is 25. And this University has even better subject ranking in subjects like Computer Science, Space Engineering and Biomedical Sciences. This university is well known as a research institution and also offers lots of students jobs within the university research groups which helps students cover their living expenses as well.
      Please do review this university once.

    Here are some of the reasons why I have decided to live in the UK over other countries. I completely understand it is a very personal decision so i am not trying to advise people however i feel like some of the positives in UK are not spoke about and often people just focus on comparing salary numbers where there is much more to life than simply your bank balance and i truly believe after a certain amount money does not increase happiness and rather time with family does and reductions in stress.
    The UK is a wonderful country to live in, for every country you will find people online talking about the negatives. Here are some positives about the UK, 1. You get a lot of paid time vacation (I currently have 30days + an extra 9 public holidays) but in general I would say in office type job you will get 25 days + the 8or9 public holidays. Work life balance is much better when comparing my life to my family who work in the US and Canada they work much longer hours when we normally log off at 5pm and are not expected to work past that. Also the UK is about to introduce free childcare from 9months old and they already allow women to take 1 year of maturity leave by law so you will have much more time with your family when compared with the US 2. Travel, it is much cheaper to explore the UK, explore Europe and fly back to see your family in Asia/Africa and you actually have the vacation days to do it. 3. Education- for your children British schools are great especially the grammar schools in Kent which are free and offer world class education. 4. Health care, yes you may have longer wait times (but you can literally always just go private and most companies offer some sort of private healthcare so you won't have to pay) but never having to worry about the cost of an operation is a big stress reducer. Also food here is much healthier and free from the strange chemicals they put in US food and also fresh fruit and veg are cheap like they should be.
    4. Crime - the murder (homicide) rate in the US is 4.96 compared with 1.2 in the UK so you are literally 4 times less likely to be killed. And along with that the US has a much much bigger problem with drug addiction and general violence.
    5. Learning opportunities and history. The UK is full of history (including most of the rest of the world's history 😂) and the museums are free so there is a lot of opportunity to learn about basically everything for free.
    For sure the US is a much better place to live if your goal is to earn a lot of money but there are reasons for that. 1. There is a much bigger hustle culture and much worse work life balance. People in the US work longer hours and get much less in vacation, maturity leave....
    2. It is a much less equal society, which is clear to see when looking at the insane homeless/ drug addiction and violence issues. The US federal minimum wage is $7.25 when the UK's is $12.88 and the UK is literally a poorer country. So yes in return high income people earn a lot more in the US but at the expense of family time and while leaving the bottom end of the country in true poverty. I work as a data analyst in the UK and yes I could earn more in the US but what would I ever need $150k a year for? I already have a fulfilling job, get lots of time to spend with family and friends, have enough for a house/cars/etc have a great healthcare and education system. Get to live in London which is such an amazing city that you could never get bored of and if I do I can get a 2 hour train to Paris or 2 hour flight to Rome.

    • @YouAreJel
      @YouAreJel ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Dhruvinnn of course, Google Russell group universities. All of those universities are very very highly regarded so any of them you'd be making a great choice. St Andrews and University of Bath are also very very highly regarded. I'm not sure what your grades and budget are like of course but if you can get into one of the universities listed above that would probably be the safest option as they are the most highly regarded universities in the country. There are of course a lot of other universities that still offer a great education so if you don't have the ability to go to one of the above let me know and I can list some others 😊
