I think this was my first time at Laguna in that car so was being pretty cautious. My pace has also improved since then =)

Nice track day! 90db limit...that's ridiculous. Are you still on your 1st set of OEM pads? Any brake fade? Do you keep that alignment setup on the street, and if so are your tires wearing evenly? Sorry for all the questions...fellow 1LE owner😎

R.C. Collins not first set, although I can get another day out of the original fronts. Rears are still original and have about half their life remaining. See more info here: www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=525068

So 96db maximum with the stock NPP exhaust with open valves ? I have the MBRP axle back, and racetrack in France are limited to 100db (like Le Mans or Magny Cours F1), do you think it could be ok ?

It depends on how far from the track they measure the sound. I don't know much about MBRP, but with stock NPP exhaust you would be fine for 100 dB at Laguna Seca (measured about 15 meters from the track).

Nice driving there! I also drive a 1le and I have a track day at laguna coming soon. I wonder if you tried to set the exhaust at stealth mode, such you don’t have to lift? Will this gonna work out? Thanks!!

Thanks! The user manual says specifically not to do that I believe. You can overheat the exhaust system if you run on track in stealth. Possibly cause engine damage from too much back pressure. I think you either need to lift or you need a custom exhaust solution. Hope that helps!
