    What has impressed me about the Milwaukee over other multi tools is the centered screwdriver. It feels almost like a real screwdriver when you’re turning a screw. No awkward side to side when turning it.

    Milwaukee also has the bottle opener function built into the handle, which the Klein does not. Its not a major feature, but another difference/additional feature.

    Hands down the Milwaukee. Yes I’m a fanboy, but the extra blade storage has been super handy a few times. The bottle opener is a plus also.😂😂😂 But the double ended bit really does it for me. You can take off a switch plate and pull the switch/outlet to look things over without having to go to the truck. The FastBack and my Cobra XS I carry have paid for themselves many times over. Keep up the good reviews…we all appreciate you.😊

      I lost one of my bits also… wish Milwaukee would sell replacements. I’d pay $5 for two of them. I’m on my 3rd…lost one (I think my seatbelt flipped it off in a field I was parked in) gave a slightly used one to someone having a bad day. And my current one is looking sad but still works like a champ. 😂

    I use to carry the Milwaukee knife all the time. My first one that had the solid metal clip like the Kline was the best. I broke the wire clip on one of the Milwaukee & the other Milwaukee knife that the wire clip the screws that hold it in would keep backing out. I currently Cary the Kline utility knife with out the screw driver and I like it.

      I have this in my pocket all the time, even when I'm not working or have a tool bag... that's when the screwdriver is nice for me. I for sure would rather have a regular screwdriver.

      So me its an everyday carry more than a tool.

  • @MattHmm-rq6dn
    @MattHmm-rq6dn 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I have both and a few notes. My original milwaukee has a c clip to hold the bit in and it's stiff and hard to get out which I like. The holiday promo ones my company got this year under save 20 have a ball dent and spring around the holder way too loose. So keep that in mind if you get a new fastback it's quite inferior to the old one I even try'd 13mm Japanese bits regular and double ended along with wiha ball dent as well none stay in well enough. I recently got the klein and found the magnet to be super weak and loose. The extension is really a odd size and there's not another that it can be replaced with that I know of(suggestion welcome)? I ended up epoxing a thin rare eath magnet in there and it helps but I do miss the double ended bits and will keep looking for a holder and bit that will fit in there (I've tried engineer vessel about every hardware store special). One big downside to milwaukee is the bottle opener snags clothing and tool bags and is the reason I switched to the klein. I think soon I may try and make a Franken knife out of the milwaukee holder and klein body. The search continues to find the perfect setup on a utility knife!

      I noticed that change too with the bit holder. I picked a dozen of the 2-packs from last year in clearance for $10 so I got the old ones without the c-clamp. The bit retention is definitely tight but thats better than loose I think. Klein seems good though. Have you thought about using a multi-tool?

  • @ElectroAtletico
    @ElectroAtletico 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    DIY here. I'm neutral on the silly tool company "color" issue (red/yellow/orange/green/teal/etc). I retired my bulky DeWalt knives to the emergency tool bags in the cars. A bit holder option was never in my radar - don't need it. Ditto for a bottle/can opener - I always have a P38 close for that eventuality.
    Thus in the end I went with the Milwaukee Fastback 6-3/4 in" with the "gut hook" and built-in storage for 5 extra blades. Hands down more versatile than that Klein of yours.
