The Power Of Love
Idea: Make BL4 the last game in the timeline and have the story centered around the Eridian vs. Vault Hunter war, then add a ton of fan favorite characters as DLC. We could have new characters, every previously playable character, and/or pretty much any character from the franchise as a playable character because it doesn't need to make canonical sense anymore

How about no? If you add a ton of DLC characters then these characters shouldn't be anywhere in the base game. Which is why characters like Moxxi, Marcus, Torgue or TIna (and super Siren Tannis don't you guys love Sirens here Tannis is one too, how cool is that???) won't work as playable VH outside of something like a Tales game because someone needs to man the shop and give quests.
Three trees for moxxie are pretty simple honestly. And her action skill could be her blowing a kiss.
Trees could be ; Corruptive charmer, Fiery Vixen, and Promiscuous Protector. Names could use some work but those are pretty basic ideas. Charmer could be focused on caustic and controlling enemies, fiery vixen could be based on health regen and fire, maybe even skill recharge. Protector could augment the skill into a taunt that attracts enemies.

I feel like moxxi would be a health regen character, and having synergy with moxxi weapons
Marcus would be great if he had very large gun space in his backpack/bank space ("HOARDING" could be one of his skill trees), and inventoried guns added to his proficiency with weapons, due to his ability to practice with them. Make the gun vendor thing be a skill, by adding the ability to sell weapons to other players, maybe?
I think the most important part is having a genuine reason to hunt for vaults and such. torgue wouldn't work as he was busy inventing weapons and not adventuring but tina would, as we already see her with the B team adventuring.
Seeing as torgue seems like an adrenaline junkie I think it would be totally in his character. Plus hunting vaults to quote torgue "is fucking awesome"

I got it, Marcus' perfect skill. After having acquired, and researched Infinity pistols of every element, he secretly develops the prototype Infinity GUNtlet. A rotating minigun firing a different element every round. Throw in Slag as a special just for him and I think thatd TEAR

I was really hoping Tiny Tina would be a playable character in Borderlands 3 where she would go bat sh*t insane like Krieg in Borderlands 2. Like her action skill would be to pull out twin rocket launchers and level the play field.

Okay left field suggestion from me, Rudiger (aka Grease Face) from the beginning of Tales from the Borderlands, if you don't remember him, he is the bandit guy who runs the food cart. My idea is his ability is to summon a level-dependent group of raiders, with the different trees specializing in different bandits
Marcus' action skill could revolve around money. Either make it so the more money he has, he gets bonuses for, or make it so that the last digit of his cash stack has an effect, for example: 0 increases accuracy, 1 increases fire rate, 2 increases critical hit damage, 3 gives his gun a fire attribute, 4 shock, 5 explosions, 6 acid, 7 slag, 8 cryo, and 9 increase damage, or something like that... or can just summon a gun or ammo vendor to appear, crushing any enemy where it was, and giving you access to a vendor if you're needing a new gun or more ammo?
I can imagine torgues ability could be like kriegs light the fuse but actually good. You know like throw dynamite and gunk.

I think for Borderlands 4 they should do for a vault Hunter line up is.
1. Tiny Tina
2. Mad Moxxi
3. Rhys
4. Mister Torgue
I do like this list, and I do have some ideas for Moxxi and Marcus's action skills.
1. Moxxi's action skill could be what her weapons to best, Have a healing effect on the side, during the actual skill 50% of damage is added for healing too, and part of the skill tree could be "weaken gun damage but increase DoT duration and damage" to make it more of a general healing tool.
2. Marcus could have some sort of action skill that goes with his "No refunds" policy, Something like during the action skill 40% of damage taken is reflected back to the attacker as a no-refunds type thing, and other things could happen like a skill that adds a chance for extra money to drop off of an attacker killed by the reflection damage.
Marcus’ action skill should be that he turns into a bus and it starts playing Spanish music and he kills everyone
I love that part of borderlands 1 where Marcus says "its story time" and starts storying the fuck out of people
For Moxxie, I'd basically have her play as the games siren (i know she obviously isn't one, but she'd play similarly), with an elemental based tree, since all her guns are elemental based. Then the next tree would be about healing and regeneration, since that's the main appeal OF said guns. And her third tree would probably be about team based stuff, but you already suggested that a lot, so we wouldn't want EVERY character to be based around that, so I'd make her third tree be more about money, since she used to be a thing with Marcus, and she's got the tip jar thing. Maybe she gets stacks of tips for whenever she picks up money in combat, and those stacks give her a damage or accuracy buff or something. This tree would probably fit Marcus better, but still
For Moxxi’s skill, I’d give her something akin to the Brewmasters from WoW, where they toss a keg of beer that slows/dazes enemies and gives a massive debuff to their accuracy. Skill trees would be elemental (obviously) that can change the keg's damage type, some seduction-based one that causes her damage (or the booze barrel) to occasionally turn enemies against each other, and of course a support/healing tree like Maya's Harmony where her damage can heal allies.
As a fan of the nomads’ design, I'd like to see one of their lot in a new Borderlands game. If it's a prequel, then Captain Flynt or Bad Maw.
I think a healthy mix could be Tina (and her dive into madness, after her Patents died), Torgue (on his way to the top of his company) moxxi (achieving her goals after running away from her Bandit clan). Torgue could be a factor in tinas upcoming as will moxxi be. Just look at her grown up in bl3. This would explain very much. Alternatively it could just be a sequel and the game writes itself. also someone New as a Wildcard. I am thinking of Steve as a Tank class for example. A simple Eyo and his positive attitude lets him live trough all those bullets. Just an idea of mine.
Ever since nomads were introduced(borderlands 2) and with Krieg already being a playable psycho for the player I've always wanted to have a playable nomad character as odd as it sounds but it would probably be funny because of their dialogue and stuff but not sure what kind of action skill a nomad vault hunter would have, maybe a shield bash or like a command based action skill that buffs him and all nearby allies(other vault hunters). One of his skill trees could be partially dedicated to self and team buffs(when co-op) and the other two for his action skill and the usual stuff. I don't know, just an odd thing I've always wanted but of course these other characters as playable characters aren't bad picks either. Would a playable nomad be a horrible choice though?
Some ideas for skills: Tina gets to equip two grenade mods and throws both at once but only takes up one grenade, maybe her rocket ult rapid fires her grenade mod?
Marcus gets the ability to swap weapon parts so you can get god roll items but it’s massively expensive so it’s not too OP.
Rhys gets the Rhys ball from bl3 s as one of his abilities - pleasure sphere buffs teammates, death sphere for combat.
I'm kinda disappointed Fiona is not on the list.
In my opinion she SHOULD have a been a playble character : we witnessed her whole character arc in TFTB, her whole training with Athena in order to become a vault hunter ; the game even teased what her skills could be as a VH :
-an elemental shot with her gun that create a elemental cloud or something
-she said she's more of a "visual thinker" plus we got all those bullet time section in which you can aim morre precisely at the enemies, so maybe action skill that lets you deal more damage or critical hits (kinda like Fl4k) during a few seconds.
-she's literally a scammer so why not make that the price of bullets and weapons are reduced for her, or maybe she could steal enemies' weapons after killing them idk
Seriously I'm so disappointed they didn't even mentioned her in BL3. It would have been a logical thing to have her back after she literally said to Rhys that she feels hunting vault is made for her.

I kind of feel like the final 4 borderlands playable characters, should be the most popular vault hunters from each game but made better. Salvador, moze, tannis/brick, and Athena. (Tannis would be the siren)

I’m sorry but imo Rhys is a shit pick. He already did vault hunting in Tales and then he became Atlas boss He hated being a vault hunter and always wanted to be the head of a corporation

Every game has an ex-soldier from a manufacturers army. We have had atlas, dahl, and vladof.
Because of that i would like to see a
- maliwan soldier (torgue, jakobs, hyperion dont have soldiers so maliwan i would assume to be the next)
-Siren-only ever 6 in the universe at once. We have seen the powers of 5 of the 6. Steele was the only siren we never got to see her powers. Would be nice to have a character who inherited her powers as a playable.
-bandit-each skill tree could be based off a bandit type we know of (rats able to steal money and loot. The more you steal the stronger you get, bruisers/goliaths bulky more tanky with more power for big guns with big magazines and also ability to berzerk. They would be like a combo of brick, sal, and krieg. They can do crazy melee brawling plus they gunzerk, plus a similar enrage(release the beast) form. nomads slower even more tanky than bruisers plus they have physical shield(imagine having a skill to strap up to 3 psycho midgets to the shield that take damage and when you use the shield action skill they get released. The more damage they take before being released the more damage speed and damage reduction they get while releeased.), finally marauders generally fast and dodgey with focus on guns.
-eridian-now that we know so much about the eridians and the fact the watcher came to the group in TPS it would be sick to have an eridian vault hunter helping us.
For Hyperion we could play as a LoaderBot

I want a vain new character, male, blond long hair, was very beautiful but lost half his face to acid, now uses corrosive weapons to turn other pretty people into horrible monsters so he himself becomes more beatiful again.

What if Markus could switch and match the weapon to make a blend of weapons, kinda like the old weapon merge glitch this would be like a cap stone skill. But he in real time swaps the front, barrel, scope, ammunition type of one gun to make another effect.another skill could swap which ammo type your merge gun would use (lower damage faster firing SMG ammo of a rocket launcher, or a sniper bullet shotgun) The skill at first would work as him making temporary mods to the weapons he is holding for a limited time of the skill, say bigger mag, better accuracy, make add an element or an extra one for a deeper skill. He's a weapon modder so he can mod and enhance his one or maybe he'll be friendly and offer his temporary mods to teammates in another skill tree.
Maybe with happens before his wife that made him fat so he can have movement skill tree since other gun manufacturers would want to kidnap him for his ideas and tech 10:03

Think the game focusing on new vault hunters is a better overall format for the game, because it’s already easier to work off pre established characters like these for the story
Moxxi would be great but she would be OP. Her main skill would be health vampire based on how much damage she did and the name of it be some sexual innuendo. The skill would probably also get a bonus if the enemy was the male.

I would say Marcus would be a gunsmith. It will have a munitions, GUNS GUNS GUNS!!! And vendor. Munitions will be for ammo. GUNS will be for gun effects and vendor will be the prices for vendors/vending machines

Seriously most of these would not be good for playable characters.
In all honesty we need to go forward in time with a continuation of the story not a fucking prequel.
Cause seriously. Two siren powers are still out int he universe now. Tyreen and Troy power is abscially the same. Just split between them. Two sides of the same coin. An the unknown power that is out there.
It's still not known if lilith is dead or not. So her power still hasn't gone anywhere.
Maya power went to ava.
Angels power went to tannis for some odd reason. Still sticking with that tannis and Jack are Angels parents.
Then we have amra as the fourth siren in existence.
So we have five confirmed siren powers with one being the same power split in half. An one that is out there not knowing what it could be. Which can be seen as steeles unknown power.
So four sirens with one still unconfirmed if dead or not. With two more being placed on random ass people.
Since only six sirens can exist at one time.
But no. None of these choices. They are either npc or dead enemy npc.
We just need a whole new cast to roll with. Or just one character that is a full on create your own vault hunter. With a true rpg like substance to it. With a create your own story where your choices actually mean something.
Create your own faction. Create your own robots. Create your own vehicles. An so on.
If ain't getting a game with Elly as a character - i aint buying it!.

Please rank every single side quest in borderlands 1 2 3 and the Pre-Sequel. You can do these like one video for each game and then one final video ranking them all. In my opinion claptraps mission where he's dancing with baby is the best mission
Some ideas for skills.
Moxxie: Summons allies, possibly random each time or based on multiple skill paths. They will be moddled after basic enemies, but have a unique Moxxie-esque look. This fits Moxxie because of her origins with the Underdome. Alternatively, throwing a bear bottle with various upgrades such as intoxication (daze), molotov (aoe fire dot), pick-me-up (heals allies/insta revive), and more.
Marcus: A Better Offer. Starting with just your gun Marcus will temporarily use a version of it that is better in every category. Preferably it'd be good enough to be on par with Gunzerking. Marcus would have one skill tree focused on increased loot and better odds for rare loot drops, a tree focused on improving his guns even further, and an explosives/ammunition tree.
Ellie: Ellie would be your turret specialist, deploying turrets with weapons that the vehicles use. So unlike the previous turrets this one would have continuous fire, and I would suggest upgrades that make it able to drive around, remote recall, and remote detonation.
Would like to see another of these, but in the form of top ten game mechanics you would like to see. Among them I would suggest melee options for the weapon slots, and gun customization and/or crafting.
All Very Interesting Skill Choices, A Lot Better Than What I Could Come Up With, That Could Be An Interesting Video Idea, I'll Have To Pop It Down On The Potentials List!
