Great review Shaun. I decided against this saw because of a lack of available information in the UK. If I'd have seen this video before buying my new saw I may well have gone for it. Lumberjack would do well to get these in to the hands of a few TH-camrs I think
Glad it was helpful! I agree, I tried to reach out to them before i pulled the trigger on purchasing but had a couple of projects approaching and had already sold the old saw.
Really good review. Straight to the point. If the fence is repeatedly square and stable with square mitre slots, I will be in on this. It's very disappointing to see so many reviews of saws costing a grand and well above with comments about fences and mitre slots not being square. The whole point of a table saw is to make repeated, square cuts.
Looks great Shaun I’m getting one but have no idea on blades as I’m a beginner so have no clue what are good blades and what are bad and like you I’m after a dadio blade set I’ll have to try and research some more
Thanks for a great review and for ending my quest for a good table saw. I hadn't heard of this one until I saw your review. The storage points on the outside speak volumes about the thought that's gone into the product and they'll save me having to add hangers onto a SIP, Charnwood or Axminster saw, which I'd assumed were my best choices until you talked me straight into one of these about five minutes ago. Cheers!

Great features to upgrade my first tablesaw the 10inch Evolution contractor saw, which doesn't have a totally flat top. Great review, and i have subbed... Shame you didn't include using it but i am being finicky... That looks a beast of a saw. To big for my shop so i will be sticking with my DW745. But like Keith says Lumberjack are missing a trick not putting it in the hands of some TH-camrs... Looking forward to watching more of your Vids
Go for it! I had been hesitating for ages and decided I needed a reason to make me buy one so I sold the older saw to encourage me to purchase something new.
Awesome review buddy, glad your happy with it. Price isn’t too bad. My dewalt was close to £500 so only a little more for what seems like a brilliant bit of kit. Especially because you can have a dado stack on it. Very jealous.
Totally agree, looking at the price of the contracters saws I decided to forgo the haribo habit for a month to compensate for the extra spending. Look its not Orange so nothing to be jealous over
Good review and the saw looks up to the mark. Not sure if Keith Brown had the potential for emulating Norm in his decision making matrix - but that would have swung it. However Lumberjack are not the easiest company to communicate with - I get the impression they area box shifting company - in comparison to Axminster ‘who know their stuff’. Subscribed.😀👍
I would like to see this saw in the french market :'( Unfortunately, we don't have access to this type of table saw in Europe (american style cast iron TS).
I do indeed. I think when i purchased it it was under valued in the market at the time. LJ have a 20% discount at this point and regularly have a 10% offer you can uitilise.

Hi Sean I'm thinking of purchasing this after I watched yours and another reviewer just one question I. Also thinking of getting this item is it compatible with this saw www.mikefarrington.com/dt-disc/double-taper-sanding-disc
I believe it fits these specs, as it has a 5/8 arbor Product notes: 10” outer diameter, 5/8” arbor, and 7/16” thick at the arbor. Requires that the saw arbor tilt 2 degrees towards the fence. Works on both left and right tilt saws, download the instructions for more information. Please inquire if your arbor is something other than 5/8”.
Would have been nice if you actually reviewed the important aspects, such as accuracy of the fence, mitre gauge, height angle etc, rather than the gimicky unimportant stuff.
I will be following up with the day to day use ove rthe next video or 2 to see how it performs Out the box the fence once attached was by default square, but has adjusting grub screws. The mitre slot i haven't checked it as yet, other then its different for the actual traack frmo my old saw so i'm in the process of remaking my jigs. WIth all the saws i use the blade angle guide as an approximation and have a digitual gauge to confirm in relation the the saw bed. All points taken on board though and will mention them in my follow up video. Shaun
Interesting review, but I was getting so wound up by the music, I stopped listening. I'm not sure what the logic is here - you are putting out a lot of information in 10 minutes, but you continually distract the viewer with dodgy lift music. This is , of course my opinion, and I see the value of bland music whilst watching machining, perhaps, or when there is no dialogue. This mix implies you are not confident in what you have to say, and so sugar the pill. There is no need - you have interesting things to tell us. Maybe You tube should install a STFU button so dialogue continues, but lift music gets left in the basement....
thanks Richard, sorry re the sound bed, i have it set to 30% of my voice volume. Most of my talking to camera sections are shorter and it doesn't affect them, as this was a lot of coal to camera i didn't think it would be any different. I will take it into consideration for any future videos such as this. Re the saw though no sugar pills, it really is solid and feels great. 😀
@@shaunintheshed thanks for the reply. I appreciate that one man's meat, etc. So please take my comments as my personal take, and not as criticism.
Thanks Paul. Looking forward to making a mess of more saw dust with it.
Nice one mate, would love to have a beast like that. Maybe one day 🤔
Subscribed.😀👍
i have managed to have several chats with them before and after purhcasing. Norm trumps spreadsheets lol
I would like to see this saw in the french market :'( Unfortunately, we don't have access to this type of table saw in Europe (american style cast iron TS).
booo not fair for you . I must say i have been looking at older saws until this came along.
You paid £750 and now on 1st January 2022 it.s £1000. Do you recon it.s still worth it?
I do indeed. I think when i purchased it it was under valued in the market at the time. LJ have a 20% discount at this point and regularly have a 10% offer you can uitilise.
@@shaunintheshed cheers!
Awesome video mate purchased mine after watching this 👍 do you have a link for the dado blade that will fit this saw?
Thanks Fletch
This was the one that I purchased
Unfortunately it had to be sourced from the US

Thanks for reply shaun, does an 8" dado stack work safely on 10" table saw?
@@fletch989 i asked the same questions and was assured yes. i have a couple of friends that have done the same and works fine.

New video.....🥳💃💃🥳 "ta ra" 🤣😂
and the first comment, thanks
cheaper than a lot of mobile phones :)
i like that thought 😀
Hi Sean I'm thinking of purchasing this after I watched yours and another reviewer just one question I. Also thinking of getting this item is it compatible with this saw www.mikefarrington.com/dt-disc/double-taper-sanding-disc
I believe it fits these specs, as it has a 5/8 arbor
Product notes:
10” outer diameter, 5/8” arbor, and 7/16” thick at the arbor. Requires that the saw arbor tilt 2 degrees towards the fence. Works on both left and right tilt saws, download the instructions for more information. Please inquire if your arbor is something other than 5/8”.
@@shaunintheshed cheers a mill 👍
Shaun

be sure to watch the 6 month review
I see on their website that they are now "fully CE approved" I wonder if that means no more dado stacks ? You may well be the last of the Norm Abrams !!
If u have a review like this one u would never buy it xD
Where is some cuts? Hiw is running? How well this is? Do a normal day usage of it not just... bla bla yyyyyyyy bla bla yyyyy
