What a deal !!!! Bet you couldn't shake her hand quick enough !!! Nice to support local too !!!! I noticed on the a bit of b-roll they have Auto Jack and Garden Jack range too. Well worth checking out. Your tool wall looked spot on ! Great job!
@@ShadowFoam tools look great , I hadn’t heard of them before but have been googling them , I really think I have a problem as every tool you show I’m looking to get , keep up the great work looking forward to next vid
That is some tool wall more British tools please. Until now i had not heard of Lumber Jack and i am in the market for some power tools and they do look like they will be getting some business from me. Keep up the great content. 👍👍👍
Those LumberJack tools look super value for money. I am sorted for Cordless Drills and Impacts, etc but If I was starting out and needing a full set I think these would be hard to beat. I like the blade cover on the table saw - watch various folk on TH-cam using their saws and I can't help imaging as they are leaning over pushing the wood just one slip of the foot (easily done) making them flip forward and a saw right in the face 😨😨 . Maybe it's never happened, but who knows!
For the price Lumberjack have some fantastic products, as a new hobby woodworker I have got a couple of their products as well as Einhell, I get these because they are affordable and better quality then a lot of other entry level brands and makes, and I like the red colour. Nice to see some British made models, gave you considered contacting Axminster?
@@ShadowFoam well I bought the cheaper 10 inch table saw and it was just a bit cheaply made, not quite accurate enough, fence not staying square, the table has a bulge which I am yet to fix. But it was a budget table saw for 170 so….. can’t really complain. The saw blade though is awesome, really nice clean cut, buttery smooth
Never heard of them and would have automatically assumed other side of the pond. Will look into them next time needing something - also spotted an extract which work is currently looking for one! Great panel build and good work getting other names out there (with freebies). Ps. not won anything yet 😂😂
First saw Lumber Jack at Maker’s Central last year, they had some really nice gear there, boys got some hats & turns out my dad already owned I think the little corded detail sander but treated himself to a router bit set at the show. My Parkside tools are starting to show the strains of use so these will be going on my list of potential replacements. As a spark I suppose you should really try and do C.K. But would also love to see Eclipse they’re are definitely quality tools been my go to for coping & hacksaws for over 20years.
@@ShadowFoam The table saw looked great The way you described it spoke about its manoeuvrability you did a very good marketing video Never mentioned the table saws price though
lol great job on the display, my tip would be :for the mitres you’d have been better off cutting it by hand, good fine saw & you wouldn’t need any filler, it’s small beading so probably faster then the circular saw anyways & just use a good wood glue, no need for the fast super glue stuff. Love the brand , never heard of them before, the table saw looks awesome as does that nifty clamp horse thing, I might go check that out right now, thanks for another fab video, you are the foam cutting master!

Only discovered Lumberjack when shopping for my first table saw, got the TS254SE and can't complain for the price. Top is just pressed steel, and fence a bit basic, as expected for a budget model, but nothing rickety or flimsy about the overall build. The riving knife / blade guard assembly design choices are a bit puzzling, and I see they've mostly repeated these with the TS1800. The supplied riving knife stands higher than the blade, so has to be removed for non-through cuts, or when using over the top accessories such as a sled, which I often do. I fabricated a replacement riving knife instead from some scrap steel scavenged at work. I know I'll upgrade within a few years but this saw has handled everything so far and I enjoy using it. I'm still getting the hang of woodworking, while struggling to develop a dozen other maker skills at the same time, so I've no business critiquing anyone else's work. I might have tried adding a small roundover to the edges, and maybe a dark stain or varnish? The display itself looks fantastic, especially that logo.
I’ve never heard of LumberJack tools. Definitely looking into them. They look good quality and best of all both a family run business and British built.
OMG loved video I've recently purchased some midrange tools I wish I'd seen this video 1st, I didn't know lumber were British although I had watched Rag and Bones Browns video and in Wolverhampton my place of Birth (Wolves aye we!)

LMAO that was the same vibes I got when I saw the prices on their site because I have never heard of the brand and I am British but I do regularly frequent Aldi and look at the tools they have in the middle aisles. I have never bought power tools from Aldi but I have bought some hand tools (I use Makita LXT power tools). Also Lumber Jack's site does not tell you as far as I am aware if the tools are brushless or not and if they're that cheap they got to have the brushes in them. All my cordless Makita tools are brushless except an orbital sander because Makita doesn't sell brushless orbital sanders but I did hear from some random youtuber who found leaks of future Makita tools and patents that they are working on brushless cordless sanders
@@mos8541 these are higher quality than Aldi branded tools think Johnathan was bit mean on the Ryobi comparison. Id say more budget professional. If you turned up to job site with these not gonna get laughed off unlike Ryobi nothing wrong with Ryobi but these are higher quality at low price
Love your videos, I have a suggestion though, maybe your first layer of foam should be black, so the colour in the deep cuts don't exaggerate the gaps around the tools, then have the coloured foam underneath so whatever colour you choose is only visible when the tool is removed. I notice details, and it tickles my OCD seeing colour around the outside of the tools, I just feel that black would look better 😂 That with added coloured inserts on the logos. I'm gonna try that with the foam I got delivered today.
