Our school did this for K-8. Next year they will be trying to add the High school, I'm not sure why they are not doing this year. I think it is great, but my kids love taking a home lunch when they don't have there favorite foods on the menu at school.

I really loved your clap back about your kids eating veggies. Being a mom to young kids is ridiculously hard! You are doing a wonderful job feeding your family. I can tell you do it with all the love in your heart. My youngest is 14, and I started watching your videos for your husband's lunches. I couldn't find any video ideas for teen lunches, and your ideas for Josh's have been super helpful. 🤗💖
I haven’t commented about veggies before but I just wanted to say most parents do not provide enough options where veggies are concerned. I agree parents shouldn’t “shove veggies don’t their throats” but making kids try veggies (and try them with different preparations/flavors) is key. When I was a kid my tastes changed constantly. Sometimes my parents made me try things again and I would realize I actually liked something. If kids don’t get into the habit of having vegetables they will become adults who don’t eat vegetables.
well, she can clap back at all the 'haters' but it doesn't erase the fact that she doesn't give them veggies. a half apple with caramel sauce doesn't cut it

As someone who went to middle and high school in the same county, I do really appreciate hearing about kids doing like I did. Sometimes school lunch is just easier then packing, frankly. Plus, it keeps the number of students getting it up, which lets the school keep free meals for everyone. I hope they keep staying good if your kids will eat them over taking lunch, sometimes!

I had to tea h him to eat slowly and he could have a snack once he got home. Now I homeschool and don't have to worry about it
I love your videos. You are so creative. I enjoy cooking and packing lunches but I get burnt out and forget what we like to eat lol. You always help me get out of that rut 😊
Lol I feel the same about those fruit cups! We can get them in a plastic container (it’s a nice container 🤣 I keep it) and I just keep it in the fridge til they are gone, which doesn’t take long
Gosh...lol I did the same thing with my ex-husband's thermos. We lived on Long Island and he worked as a brick mason in winter, in NYC for a while. I got up at 5:00am and made him soup every morning and had boiling water heating up the thermos.
I just wanted to mention this, in case it's helpful. When my kids were little and while I was cooking their dinner, I would put the tv on and put a platter of fruit and veg in front of them. I never commented, but I put a mix of things they would eat, and new things they had never tasted. They were hungry after school, and you would be surprised by the things they would try. Just ignore what they eat completely, and you will be surprised what they will try when you aren't there/don't care. I still do it now even though they are 10 and 14, and it still works 😁
If u have a canning jar funnel, you can use that to put in the thermos so you don't spill the foods. Bc I personally struggle with not making a mess. You do great but just a tip!
This great value chicken nuggets are literally some of the best. I have tried so many brands and have always come right back to those! Not to mention the fact that they stuff soooo many in that bag!

Love the ideas I needed this! I love that school has free breakfast and lunch I jaut don't think 20 minutes is long enough. My son had an issue with the time a couple years back and would eat so fast he would puke and I would have to be picked up from school.
We can get them in a plastic container (it’s a nice container 🤣 I keep it) and I just keep it in the fridge til they are gone, which doesn’t take long
What a great mom you are!!!!
Thank you so much!!
Gosh...lol
I did the same thing with my ex-husband's thermos. We lived on Long Island and he worked as a brick mason in winter, in NYC for a while.
I got up at 5:00am and made him soup every morning and had boiling water heating up the thermos.
Love walmart sub rolls for sandwiches and philly cheesesteaks and meat ball subs their just perfect
Interesting info about the red food dye.
Omg!! I LOVE bologna and cheese omelette!!!! So good!! Glad I’m not the only one…lol!!!
Thanks for the thermos tip! I was wondering why ours don’t work well lol
The dollar tree has the little reusable squeeze dressing cups!
My mom made scrabbled eggs with spam and celery (cut thin) for breakfast when I was growing up and we loved it. Ham is super good in it too!
Yes, that was the brand of Naan bread I told you about before! The garlic one is really good, too!
Great video and ideas. I was really impressed by the grape slicer. Had no idea those existed. I will be checking it out. Blessings
Please do more of these!! Love all of your ideas
Thankfully my kids loved veggies 🥗 and still do as teens 😇
Thank you so much I just preferred a bento box!
I love the mini Naan idea for a pizza lunchable! Will definitely have to try for my little ones!
This great value chicken nuggets are literally some of the best. I have tried so many brands and have always come right back to those! Not to mention the fact that they stuff soooo many in that bag!
Yesss I agree!
I got both our Bentgo at a discount boxes on prime day. We absolutely love them.
Thank you! This is our first year in school and I'm trying to make great lunches for them. This helps a lot!
