Nice looking boot, the accent stitching along the sole is a really nice embellishment. Thanks for showing them and thank you to Atlantis for providing an affiliate discount.
Yeah man, I haven't traditionally been a "boots guy;" but wow.. these things are too beautiful and too comfortable to not be excited about them. And yes, just like the slip-ons and the sneakers of theirs (I reviewed both of those previously), I *LOVE* that stitching.
Very durable! Handmade, very well-made by artisans in Turkey, stitched on soles (not glued), etc... These are one of the few pairs of shoes that when I put them on, I feel like they really elevated my look. I will say they're dress boots, not hiking boots, but yes, very durable. Well yes, if you're not accustomed to wearing barefoot shoes, there is some adjustment period needed, generally. That said, this particular pair, while the soles are somewhat thin, they are one solid piece of water buffalo leather, which isn't the thinnest or most flexible, so for most people, it shouldn't be a hard switch to make. Absolutely beautiful shoes!
@@barefootshoejosh I do wear barefoot shoes, but mostly in sneaker types. It's the first time I've seen Chelsea boots with such a thin, barefoot sole. It's kind of strange aesthetically due to the proportions.
@@MaximSupernov Oh I gotcha now. Interesting take. When I dress up, these are a go-to for me, and when I put them on and look in the mirror, I think they look SO great. I wonder if a comfy wool insole might help you feel better in them?
@@Criticalmaze I think I mentioned in the video review, you can have them add the rubber on the bottom if you want it. It's possible I forgot to mention it--but they can add a rubber sole (I think it's like 2mm) on the bottom of the water buffalo leather if you request it.. They might not even charge for it. That should minimize the slipping part for sure. As for SNOW.. they're nice, semi-dress leather boots, not waterproof (Although you could probably treat them if you really wanted to).. I wouldn't personally recommend for snow.
From their website: "Please note that we can only apply copper rivets to our loafers, oxfords, sneakers, and slippers. Because of the lack of space inside the boots for our hand to hand-hammer them, we can’t apply them to boots."

Love the look of them, only thing in the way of me buying is durability. Are you able to comment on that at all?

I'm a Chelsea lover, but this barefoot version with such a thin sole feels like an incomplete boot with only a midsole. I need time to get used to it.
