15:37 - Ty says _"You've done projects... because the person making that project was someone you had enormous respect for."_ I think Wes missed an opportunity to say "Nah, I can't say that I have" (followed by awkward silence).
I have to write that I enjoyed Ty's stories of the past, every show, but Wes seems to bring these tales to the fore front. This is why this show works. Thanks for doing this. I am a hooked fan.
I missed Wes! I tune in just to watch the intro! LOL. Yes, I knew it was Creep show and Wes did a great job with his recreating the "I want my cake" scene. I loved the payback intro for the fun Ty had at Wes expense from last week. LOL Respect your neighbors, but Wes did a great job. Thanks Wes, good to see you back.
Years ago I was watching a movie called Phase IV (1974) on TV about intelligent ants that was quite disturbing and there was a moment when the protagonists were finding dead people and there was an ant crawling out of the hole in a hand. At that moment a large ant crawled up over the edge of the arm on the couch I was sitting on and I have never killed an ant so hard in my entire life. 😱🐜
Just finished Book 3 of The Expanse. I am loving it! Aside from the abuse of the words tug, and tugging, I am thoroughly engaged and not distracted. Watching these shows to see what else I might be interested in.
Biggest takeaway: forget about bonds, the stock market, FOREX & crypto: the future is the bug market. Current exchange rate: 1 roach = 5 spiders. 'Greed is good' ;)
Oh yeah. I haven't watched "Creepshow" in YEARS! but I LOVED it as a kid, and TOTALLY got it from the first "I want my birthday cake!" Yeah, I was a Gen Xer, me and my friends biked to the mall to watch "Creepshow," "Beastmaster," "Krull" all the time and not see parents for 12 hours at a time! :D
IIRC, Tales From the Crypt isn't streaming on Max or anywhere else because of some licensing stuff. It really sucks, since I remember seeing a handful of episodes when I was a kid, and I'd love to see the whole thing as an adult. Masters of Horror pops up occasionally on various services, with Tubi being the most recent one I've seen. The picture quality was awful though.
Listened to the audio podcast already and there was discussion around why Ed Harris was in the movie. That maybe he just had a desire to work with George Romero. At this point he had already worked with both Romero and Tom Savini in Knightriders.
Trilogy of terror with the voodoo doll and the hole in the ground that made the kids dad crazy.

love the ep. Disagree big time on the Barbeau take. I love her in this, playing against type. I think it's one of her best performances.

Ed Harris had previously starred in Romero's 1981 film "Knightriders."
Another horror anthology from way back was Tales From the Darkside. Best, creepiest narrated credits opening ever!
The Christian Slater segment was great

Love that Soup Kitchen t-shirt

Good call... this was actually pointed out to the guys in the uncut patron version.
My Jr High band director looked JUST like Adrienne Barbeau, dayum the transitive properties of teen crush made me have one bigtime for her! LOL
Hey Wes, if you thought these puny cockroaches were scary, I dare you to watch Damnation Alley (1977) 😅
Sup guys. What happened to the rest of the Fallout review?
It was never planned to be an episode by episode breakdown. They might come back to it, but both Ty and Wes are busy right now.
@@TYandThatGuy Na I didn't think it would have been episode by episode.
Just one show. But it's no biggie.
Just curious. Thanks for the reply.
